Regarding the issue you had with your cat, my brother had a simular experience. He had been experiencing a number of unexplained activities in the house, such as seeing multiple spirits gathered together and other such things. Anyway, he currently has four Chihuahua's and a cat named Jasmine. Well, he says that he was sitting on the couch watching TV, when he looked up to see his cat Jasmine rubbing up against the back door wanting to go outside. The problem with this was that he looked down realizing that he was petting Jasmine who was laying on the couch with him.

Another time his wife was out in the yard and saw my brother walk from the driveway, through the garage and into the house. She called to him, but he just kept walking and so she followed him into the house, but couldn't find him. She then called him on her cell phone and when he answered she said, "Where'd you go?" In which he replied, "What are you talking about?" and she said, "I saw you walk through the garage and I called to you but you didn't stop or answer, in which he replied, "I don't what you're talking about, I've been at work all day."

Other things that happened were doors slamming, pictures flying off the wall and the sound of this large rock sliding across the floor in his kitchen which he uses to prop the door open with. The problem with this was that he heard the rock sliding across the floor well after midnight when he and his wife were sleeping.

This is of course demonic activity, since God does not allow human beings to wander the earth after death. To combat this, he would either read or speak Scriptures out loud and I also prayed for him claiming the power and authority of God and the name of Jesus in order to drive them out. He has not had any recent occurances.

Yay your story is posted! Interesting. On the sister site I posted a story about seeing my dead cat in this "I'm just awake" state too. On my story, AnneV said that is one of the best times to see astral counterparts and stuff. (Her 3Bs: Bed, Bath and Bus) So I think you're correct in saying that time of day is good for seeing things that you can't see during the day.

Just out of curiousity, is this 'town' Alton, Ohio? It considered one of America's most haunted towns.

Next time, try to ignore it. Maybe the ghost just wants you to be irritated, and if you ignore it, maybe it'll go away. 😐

I agree with you. That is the same time period between going to sleep and still being awake has also proven to be, for folks that are somewhat spiritually gifted, a time that the diabolical can do some of its dirty work. They never fight fair so they wait until you are in the most vunerable situation and then bother you. It is also elieved that people are more open and susceptable when they are under anesthesia or hypnosis. These are all times when your mind is still working at 100 miles an hour but you body is entering the sleep mode. So either you are paralized or your reactions are impaired during this time. Sounds like for some reason they cannot get you under paralisis which I think is awesome. If it is spiritual then you are going to have to go to the spiritual source to stop it. I know that it is not sleep paralsis but it is certainly close enough that I advise yo to go to www.stopsleepparalysis.org and the same techniques used there to stop this crap permanently will also work to stop what you are going through. It will wear you down so be careful. If you need immediate relief, there is something you can do that will work to end it instantly. Think in your head out loud or say out loud with your mouth if you can, "the blood of Christ rebuke you". I guarantee my friend it will end right there and you can get some sleep.
