That was so sad. I feel for you and your family. May Skye rest in peace. It takes something like this to make us appreciate our lives as they are and love each other.

This is such a moving experience and thankyou so much for sharing this on here. I love how this was written. Perhaps writing is a gift that is shared within the family since Skye loved poetry etc? Keep writing:) I'm sure Skye will be there to collaborate something with! <3

You are a very good writer! Ever considered writing a book? This is the first story I read when I opened the site, and it is so sad!

Darren,
This was the hardest one for me to read. And heaven knows there's nothing any of us can say that would ease your pain. My heart goes out to your entire family, for there is nothing worse than the loss of a child, ever. There is no closure for that. You have done a very brave and wonderful act by opening your heart this way to all of us. I am humbled by your words and thank you for trusting us with such a precious piece of you. You've done Skye proud, mate. Very proud indeed. ❤ ❤

No replies necessary mate, none at all.

Jav ❤

She came back to see you and possibly say goodbye 😊 I was nearly in tears reading about this heartbreak you and your family suffered.

Wow! I LOVE titles like these for stories. It tells so much in such a little sentence. So sorry for your loss, but I'm lovin' how she has let you know she's fine. Life must still go, but now you have a beautiful song to remember her by, along with precious memories, and she is alright.

Your story brought me to tears, I know that parents worse night mare because at age 21 my son got hit by a car very early one morning I found out by the police who called me at 3am in the morning they had my number because he had his cell on him. He was taken to the hospital unconciance, so I signed for his treatments. He had both sides of his skull fracksherd bleeding on the inside of the brain outside of the brain and a frackserd pelvis he lived, they said it was a miracle. I believe she (your daughter) in a better place and you must have in life had a very special place in her heart for her to come back to you in spirit and give you that kiss I know you will tresure it forever. Thank you so much for sharing.

Aussie: I can only imagine how painful this must have been for you and your family, after going through what we did recently with my son... Every parent's nightmare, indeed... Your way of working through the grieving process is something I recommend to anyone who is grieving... A song, a story, a poem, a painting...

I feel that by allowing yourself to feel the pain, she was able to see you and therefore, come to you with a farewell kiss to let you know everything would be fine...

I know you don't want to comment, but if I may ask for you to repost the link?...It doesn't work... 😢

Thank you for having the courage to post such a painful, bittersweet experience ❤
