Oh dear... This sounds like one of those urban legend tales that gets bandied around the halls of your local high school, and a bad one at that!

Also if Payton was supposedly possessed a first time then why the heck would he go 'ghost hunting' on the school retreat? Wouldnt you stay as far away from ghosties as you possibly could after the first little episode he had? Sheesh!... Lol

In all of this you never said what your boyfriend was doing while Payton was trash talking you. By your account, it was the other guys holding him back. In fact, all we heard of your boyfriend was your one time mention of him.

"My boyfriend Damian, was standing on the gate when he shouted and ran away from the gate. He claimed that a figure ran up to him."

After that, he is just gone. No longer exists in the story line. Weird.
Maybe Payton ate him?

You go, zzsgranny! I've never understood why demons should speak Latin in the first place. You'd think they speak Phoenician or Sumerian or something even older. Or just plain old English, since they're supposed to be clever and they wouldn't be nearly as frightening if they had to attend ESL classes. Question: you say "Payton doesn't remember one moment of it, and Payton has always told me it has never left him." Which is it? Does he not remember or has it never left him?

Interesting story... A little hard to believe but then again I have dwell with possessions before so at this point anything is possible.

If you can give us a bit more information about the town and woods to back up your story it will help us understand a lot more.

think this story is fake, but it may be true, hard too say.

1: you don't name the town, hard for us too check for other stories around the area too comfirm your not lying.

2: demons usualy attack the weakest first, to make the group scared/in fear, than the strongest, odd that the demon directly tried to get too the strongest, seeing as his wilpower would've been much more than your other friends.

3: I think you have way too much imagination.

baileybusco: There's no such thing as a "school for mentally ill" children in the United States... Even if there was, the school board has no say in the institutionalization of a minor, that has to be done by the parents...

It sounds like a bunch of kids with too much time on their hands. I've heard of all this before, not very original. If there is any truth to it then I apologize.

Wow. That certainly sounds like a demon, to me. Though... Was he the kind of person to play pranks on other people? Just as a possibility, of course, I'm not tossing out the notion of a possession, it's just nice to rule out other 'motives' first, so to speak. This story does seem a bit wild. But then... This is a site for ghost stories:p I would have been terrified to witness an account like that! Just another reason to be afraid of the dark.
