I agree Lou, but even better with a pork roast. Brush the roast with olive oil, season & sprinkle rosemary over. Then close well in cooking foil. Slow roast in oven for about 3 hours...Mmmm! Finger licking good!

PaPa Thorn,
I'm surprised at you 😲...forgetting the Rosemary in the 'bath water'. Rosemary is another herb that's good for protection.
Welcome back, your perspective is at least refreshing at times.
Respectfully,
Rook

jerryhend1,
May I ask just which rules you refer to? A wise man once said there are no rules in Love or War... And there is a War waging between Good and Evil... And you do not have to be religious to believe that... But I am curious as to which 'rules' you refer to.
I do not mean any disrespect, I'm just curious to what you are referring to, gives me a chance to do some research.
Respectfully,
Rook

Then I remember from stories and articles I've read that ghosts or evil spirits can disguise themselves or their voices as the people you love, but there are rules they MUST obay, they can never apper as real humans, there will always be somthing worng with them and that is the clue...

hello Lou hehe the Coyote moniker expressed more of a connection to the native American side of my methods. I didn't put it this time because I didn't think to. None the less it still astounds me that helpful polite comments are rated down for no apparent reason. I was hoping the site would be open minded when I returned but it seems my posts are still being sniped. Oh well I'm back to help regardless of my karma points dropping every post glad to see I haven't been forgotten.

(sigh) xxibonihs,
You did it again. Your story about the voice you heard at your grandmother's is intriguing and sounds like a paranormal event; the door, not so much.
Mechanical items break, rust, and wear out over time. My car was fine yesterday, today the waterpump is shot. Voices don't come out of nowhere... This event is significant... Noisy doors... Not so important, even if they make you uneasy.
Puppeteer...what happened to your coyote monniker... To many Acme anvils coming your way?
Lou

Greetings Allow me to introduce myself I am Papa Thorn Medium, Exorcist, Bokor, and one of the three heads of the Ouroboros Exorcism society. This is an interesting incident. If I may make a request before giving input
#1. The request can you describe the moan, Demonic is quite vague when when describing sounds.
#2. My Input/advice: though I agree with Robertar many spirits are benevolent however not all of them are If you are worried about malevolent forces entering your dwelling or the dwelling of your loved ones there are several solutions which may be used individually or in any number of combinations these are methods myself and my associates have found useful with our previous clients and I am happy to pass onto you if it makes you feel safe.
Option 1. Smudge your house by burning sage throughout the house to cleanse negative energy within the dwelling.
Option 2. Lay down a line of salt across your doors and windows, a practice used since ancient times to provide barriers against malevolent or harmful entities negative energy cannot cross the barrier
Option 3. Keep wild roses In your dwelling in as many rooms as possible these put off massive amounts of life energy and for reasons not yet known repels negative spirits
For personal protection for your body bathe in an infusion of lavender oil, holy water, warm water, rose petals, and incense ash it will provide personal protection against any negative spirits.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any particular questions by the email on my profile, blessings upon you and yours

You might consider a request that no unclean spirits be allowed into your home/room while you sleep.
Lets God decide which ones are clean and unclean, which should satisfy those who worry that most spirits are harmless people who just want, need, or have more rights than you do in your living space.
