honestly I have told many ghost stories before and this one has a ring to it. I'm not saying I don't believe you but... I don't know I had to check.
So I went on goggle and serched Arrow roch missiori hauntings.
I found sevril articals about an old tavern and a few of studieos but none metionded a fire or a child. One did metion a woman though. It might be useful to metion the name of the studieo? Or was it just called arrow rock. Ill keep looking!

alexandcastle - when I read this story (and I also noticed the flagrant age difference), there was one other thing that jumped out at me that the others didn't mention. BTW, I googled the theatre and found it, but no mention of a fire or the girl. Could be that I just didn't delve deeply enough. I admit, I was tired.

But this sentence just bugs me. "I didn't bother to ask if anyone died in the fire because I assumed it was an electrical fire." Huh? What? I'm not sure if 1) you mean you automatically assumed someone died in a the fire or 2) because it was an electrical fire people don't die in them.

If it's 2) then you are terribly wrong. People do die in electrical fires. Here, I looked this up for you, just so you know. "Electrical fires in our homes claim the lives of 280 Americans each year and injure 1,000 more. Now, the reason that sentence, more than the rest of your story, bugs me is because I live in a trailer and it seems older trailers are more at risk for fire. More often than not, it's electrical.

NOTHING, Nothing that indicates there was a mysterious fire in 1994... There is mention of a fire in that town... Way back in 1901... But that's just not the same is it.

So...Thanks but no thanks we prefer 'True Experiences' rather than 'Fictional Stories'.
