[at] Pretakya, You don't know me. You don't know what I write, and as you see I can't. So if you want to judge my story in such a manner, keep it to yourself?
[at] Kristy-Lee1985, I didn't clarify things enough in this because I was worried I'd run out of words.
He did not physically bandage the arm. He told me HOW well, not how but told me to do it. I know they usually wouldn't be able to have that much energy to do such a thing. His words weren't nasty. He was making a point, I think I would've said the same thing to my little sister or something. Also I kind of know suicide isn't something to laugh about. I was there, it wasn't nice. Thanks alot.
This is for everyone else thinking about the bandage, lol. It wasn't really him bandaging. But telling me to bandage it. So yes. I hope that clears things up. π

Fanny its good to see you here again! Its been a while hasn't it?
Lindsey, I'm also glad you got the help you needed. It doesn't matter what this boy was, or where he came from. I'm sure he's better off now and you're better off now. Don't let anyone judging you on this site bring you down or make a negative impact on you either.
Thank you for sharing your experience, it is nice to see happy endings on here. Take care! β€

At HappySpirit,
You may very well be my new favourite person on the entire planet!
At OP,
Whether or not your story is 100% truthful is not for me to decide. At the end of the day, I'm just glad you got the help you needed. I hope you never go down that sad and lonely road again and live a long and happy life. If you ever need someone to listen there are plently of people on this site who would be happy to listen, myself included.
Just remember that no matter how hard it gets, it will get better and people like me, who have never met you, care. I hope this finds you well.

That's how I felt when I was twelve... Although, for me, I didn't get to see anyone or anything. I just felt like someone was not wanting me to do it, and the guilt got to such an extreme point that I didn't so anything to harm myself/others.
Anyway, you were (and maybe still are - he could still there, without you knowing) very lucky to have someone like that:)
I believe that he was your angel, to be honest. I mean, I'm certainly no expert, but that is what it sounds like.:3
Take care

Well [at] Bbrave its more than likely that your hypothesis is right and not mine, whatever be the reason its more more important that someone saved her and that's what matters:)

oh and also, if you were that depressed at such a young age and were phsyically harming yourself, shame on your parents for not acting and getting you professional help. Depression is not a laughing matter, I have suffered most of my life so if this is someones idea of a joke. Shame on you

I'm sorry to say it but I must agree that I find this story hard to believe. For 1) if this was your guardian angel he would not of spoken to you and said such nasty things and for 2) I find it hard to believe a "ghost" would have enough energy to help you physically bandage your arm, it is practically impossible for a spirit to harvest that much energy without having somewhere to harvest it from. Sorry, this story seems a little on the fake side. Maybe you imagined it and saw something you wanted that wasn't really there

Um, I know this is going to get me in a heap of trouble, but I'm inclined to agree with pratekya, although I suppose he or she was a bit blunt. I'm afraid I don't believe this encounter occurred as reported. A fully-fledged corporeal manifestation, capable of helping you bandage your arm? I don't think so. This is a story, although it may have elements of truth in it, and Lindsey, I would be interested to know what those are. If you were indeed prevented from further harming yourself by some strange and inexplicable intervention, I would like to hear the real account, minus the dramatic embellishments. I'm glad you have found a new appreciation for life.

You say that boy certainly was her guardian angel. I have to ask how you feel comfortable enough to say that for sure?
Is it possible yes Likely no, not to me anyway. Nearly everyone jumps straight to the guardian angel answer. When it comes to stories like this. That might be the case in some stories but not all.
It's more likely that he saw someone who's life wasn't as bad as she thought. Knew she would harm herself and intervened to keep her from wasting her life.
From what she has said it's clear the boy regrets taking his life and that regret kept him from passing on. Now that he stopped her from doing the same it seems he has moved on.
It's a comforting idea that guardian angels watch over us. But not every time someone is saved from taking their own life. Is it due to a guardian angel. Sometimes it's due to a person who has already made that mistake due to the circumstances in his/her life.
That realized too late that suicide was not the way out so they intervene to keep someone else from making the same mistake and causing the people that love that person pain. As well as the regret they know the person would feel upon realizing they were mistaken

Lindsay,
I totally agree with shellzy and miracles, that boy certainly was your guardian angel, he was always there with you but your mental state at the said period of time made him appear to you. Your story made a nice read, hope you are out of your depression now... Be happy, life is too short to be sad. Lots of β€and wishing you the best,
Devu

Having had a terrible childhood I know what you were initially feeling. I tried harming myself as well only my attempt was at an overdose on the dilantin I was prescribed when I was diagnosed with epilepsy.
I don't think he was your guardian angel. Rather he was someone who had been through the same thing in life as you had who took his own life.
After which he realized it was not the way to deal with his situation. So he stopped you from making the same mistake. It's funny how it sometimes takes what seems to be an extreme action to open our eyes.
The extreme in your case being told by someone who had already passed on how important life is and that it should not be wasted.
It's terrific to hear his message got through to you and that you are well

HappySpirit - very well said. And since there's a character limit, I'll say it again, very well said.

Prateyka, you don't know enough to make a comment like that. I trust that Lindsey is telling the truth about her depression and the tough time she was going through. Unfortunately young people can be thrust into difficult family situations for which they don't experience nor any support from strong adults and the result can be debilitating, suicidal depression. Whether Rudolph was a guardian angel, a dead boy "earning his wings" by helping a suicidal young person or simply a projection of her own psyche we don't know and it isn't important. The important part of the story is the gratitude for life Lindsey felt after this episode, the realization that life is precious. That is a Truth with a capital T.

I totally agree with Miracles and Shellzy. Everyone has a spirit guide and they will take any shape or form to help us. In this case, it was in the form of a boy who tried to kill himself and it really happened and when he realized that it was stupid, it was to late but he didn't want that happening that to you. Just count your blessings that you had someone and enjoy your life. I have gone though depression and it's never fun. Although, I better now, at the back of my head, I always afraid that I will slip back into that part in my life because of the stress I (and everyone else for the matter) encounter everyday. But I would think about what I experienced during that depressive time and I would make not that I don't back there ever again because (1) I didn't like it and (2) it's simply not worth it.
I hope that you are okay now and doing better. I will also keep you in my prayers that you don't ever go back into that dark times again.

Lindsay
I have shivers after reading this incredible story. I too believe this was one of your sprit guardians taking the form of this child to guide you away from the dark place you were in.
I believe our spirit guides are always there when you need them, whether they take the form of a human, butterfly, an animal or are simply just a strong prescence that you feel they will always be there.
Thanks for sharing π β€

Lindsey - no matter what form your Guardian Angel took, the fact that he was there for you and brought you from that dark place where you were to where you are now is all that matters.
Sometimes everyone needs someone like your Sir Rudolph. Some people make them up in their minds, others are sent help in the way they need it. Maybe you wouldn't have responded to someone who didn't understand what you were going through. All that matters is you got help.
I wish you the best. β€
