I never thought of him as possibly being earth bound until I read Jesus Soldiers comment. Thats a great possibility but I really don't think its residual. I could be wrong... It wouldn't be the first time... Or the last lol.

I saw this man crawling in different places in my home, different days & times... Mostly at night. Wouldnt residual be the same place & possibly the same time?

I hope to post more stories asap. Its hard to get the time with as many Children as I have lol.

Thank you for your comment. I totally agree with you about there being something unnatural with someone crawling on the floor... Although seeing my toddler & other children crawling on the floor scares the poo out of me lol.

I am not sure if anything as happened in my home before we moved in that would cause this. But I will take your advice & check my libary to see if I can come up with anything.

I do know that at least one family lived there before we did. Because, near the front porch steps to the right, you can see a few hand prints and even a paw print in the concrete with a date scratch in... It was July 4th but I can't remember the year.

There have been a lot of scary & odd things that have happened in that house to me, my Children & now my Mom.

It seems that every place I have ever lived in has had something odd or paranormal happen.

I agree with the other comments, this is the stuff that nightmares are made of! I could reel off 100 scary things that I would rather see before I saw something crawling along the floor... Seriously creepy!

It almost sounds like he was living out the final moments of his passing, perhaps he was hurt or in great pain but why he would choose your home and to show himself to you? I guess that will remain a mystery and something I'm sure you won't forget in a hurry.

This story is very frightening! My biggest fear is to see something crawling across the room at me, there is just something so unnatural about any person other than a toddler crawling. Theres just something super creepy about this... I'm curious if anything has happened in the house, maybe your local library will have something, other than just researching online. Best of luck! I'm looking forward to your other stories.

All I know is that this is the creepiest thing I've read here in a long while. You got my attention, that's for sure! Can't wait to hear what comes next.

Thank you for your comment. I would see this man all over my home. He would crawl out of my view but I knew he was still in my house becauase, I could hear him.
I did tell my Mom. She never saw him or never admited it. She didn't believe me then but she does now.
My second Daughter in late 2011 caught a glipmse of his leg crawling into my Moms room. She still lives in the home... With my 21 year old Daughter.

Thank you for your comment. I am a very open minded person, therefore I appreciate your opinion. I am not sure if he was a tortured soul earth bound. If I had to guess I would say no or that wasn't the feeling I got. I had seen him more times then I can count. But my opinion doesn't mean that maybe he was a tortured earth bound soul. Yes I agree obviously lol... This is very creepy. I have had a lot of odd things happen to me and my Children but for me this was the sacriest.
I will post more of my stories soon as I can. Most of the stories are my experiences but I have a few that have happened to my Children. Thank you both for your comments:)

I was born in 1972 & this was the only home I lived in growing up. My Mom still lives there. My oldest Daughter (21 years old) lives there with her as well. I feel that if it was residual why at age 14 until I was 17 would I have been able to see this man? Shouldnt I have always been able to see him if it was residual? Any feed back to help me understand better would be great.

Very scary. Where would this guy go? Would he just crawl out of your view into another room? Did you ever tell anyone?

Thank you for your comment. I felt that it was very aware that I could see it. I never saw any facial features or that I remember. All I can say is that we were definitly aware of each other.
I for years thought that this crawling man was ment only for me to see... That was until the end of 2011, when my second Daughter saw it. I comment more about this below in my reply to SDS.
I am very aware of what a residual occurrences are but I feel without a doubt this was not one.
My Mom moved in this home in 1965 with my dad (he moved out in 1972)

I love this story. I don't think this spirit was/is human. My gut feeling is not saying, "This poor man is still trapped on earth". Some people can disagree, and that's fine. I'm just giving my opinion. Thank you for sharing this cool story.

Was there any type of interaction- any hint that this crawler was aware of you watching him? Any eye contact? As someone else mentioned, there may be a chance of this being residual. Were you under the impression that this crawling was meant for you to see, or that it was something you just happened upon?

I've had a lot of unusual experiences, but thank God it wasn't something like that! As Javelina said, there's just something major creepy about this.

Okay, this is definitely a 9.0 on the creep-o-meter! Wow!

Oh thank you so much for commenting. I am sorry you experienced this too but I am grateful to know that I am to not the only one who has seen this. I thought I was alone.
I do not remember seeing a scar on his back but I would never dare get close to him & don't remember him getting close to me.
I have seen him more times then I can count.
Please tell me about your experiences with your crawling man. What did he do, did he say anything to you, did he touch you? Maybe by you telling me what happened to you might help me understand this more.

Thank you for commenting. I don't know why he would be crawling... Maybe just to scare me more then it already had.
I don't scare easily but I am still freaked out by crawling people in real life or in movies that I have seen.
My Children love to tease me about it & crawl on the floor... Trust me its not funny.
Like I responded to SDS, all I could find is the year my Moms home was built. I don't know how to research the land. Do you have any ideas how I may do that?

Thank you SO much for commenting! This started when I was 14 which was 1986 & lasted until I was 17 which would of been 1989. I would see this man all over my home. I honestly can not remember him ever coming in my room though. I am still getting flash backs of all the weird things that happened in my childhood home. I would mostly remember seeing him at night.
My Mom never saw him or at least she never admit it. She didn't believe me.
My Mom still lives in this home. My second Daughter has seen something white crawl into my Moms room. All she caught was a leg crawling. She was the only one to see this from the end of the hallway. This happened evening time. My Mom, my Daughters, two of my Sons & I were there.
I have tried to reseach my Moms home but all I could find is when her home was built... Which I think was 1940. She moved there in 1965 if I remember correctly. I know at least one family lived there before her.

Hi happymom freaky story! You say you have researched what the man could be or why you saw him, have you researched the history of the building or the land etc? The fact that the man was crawling is very intriguing I mean why crawling? Interesting story thanks happymom x wiz

Hi happymom thank you for sharing your experience with us and I think that this thing is like some kind of spirit which stalks people and just like sds said can you tell us the exact time and place this thing used to appear?

Hi happymom, you had the encounters for more than 3 years until you reached 17 years of age. I would like to know one thing, did you have any memory of when this man would appear, the time of the day or night. Where you were seeing this man, in your room or elsewhere? Did you at any point of time, discuss these experiences with your family members and whether they said that they also saw this man. That would throw more light on whether it was a residual haunting of some sort or any other paranormal experience. If you have investigated, please share with us the information.
