If you are that phobic about learning the truth, why did you even bother to include this information? You don't say where or how you got that info about the father murdering the family. And you never mention where or how you picked up the info on the family, including Mary. Was this something that simply 'came' to you? Because, if that's the case, I am putting my money on this being a product of a wild and fanciful imagination, and it does not belong here.
And even for your stated age I would suggest you get your eyes checked for cataracts. You say that when you first saw her you had suddenly been awoken from sleep and were blind as a bat. The mist you described seeing in your room then, and later out of the corner of your eye, is a common symptom of developing cataracts. I know, I recently had them removed myself. They have been known to develop in younger people as well, and it never hurts to check.

Frostbuny: Let me see if I have this right: You know the whole family's names, ages, and circumstances of their deaths; you've never seen or heard them but you know they're there; you've never bothered to find out if the whole story's true or not and you're posting this on a site FOR real experiences?...
