Hi Saille, Great story.

I think you might have hit the nail on the head yourself. The fact you mention that everything is fine with your friend at his new place would suggest that nothing has attached itself to him.

This leaves us with something about him or the way he behaved upset the balance with the fae and possibly the nature spirit you share your space with.

Could it be possible that somebody has cursed your friend? Maybe ask if he's ever found any items put in his things that he didn't recognise or anything like that, maybe a hex bag or some other kind of gypsy/voodoo curse?
Or maybe he played with a oujia board and let something out that causes trouble?
Also, and i'm not trying to be rude, how much do you know about this friend? Are you certain this isn't some scam or something? You said he'd had trouble with previous housemates... Again, I don't mean any offense, just exploring all possibilites:) either way, it's good that it cleared up when he left:)

Saille, that makes a lot of sense. Your probably onto something. Maybe just bad energy itself attached to him while traveling through that creepy to town, and that bad energy mixed with his already selfish angry nature stirred things up in your house, because the entities in your house didn't approve.

Hi Saille, what an unusual experience! It's strange to me that he's not experiencing anything where he is now - my first thought was that perhaps he had something negative following him around... But now I think you may be correct - perhaps there is something on your property, that only became active in a negative way, because of him. Perhaps he resembles someone who used to live there, or somehow reminded whatever the entity is, of a person who had done bad things on the property... Maybe he did something to insult, or somehow upset the "balance" that you had... Was Jack going through a particularly hard time in his life, when he came to live with you? Do you know if he had ever dabbled in the occult? This is an interesting event that may open up some good discussion! I'm glad that you got through it ok, and that your home is at peace again, balance restored. ❤

I wondered about that. He did tell me a very interesting story about a creepy town they drove through, and said that the girl that was traveling with them behaved very strangely after they had driven through the town.

I am not sure if something could have attached itself to him. For myself, I am a practicing witch. I have been so for a very long time, more than 20 years at this point. I know when something is not right with someone, and I can normally see if something has attached themselves to someone.

I did not see anything, but what it did seem like was that activity that was normal to my home was just suddenly much, much louder, and a lot less happy.

Having him live here turned out to be a bad choice for me. I was hoping to have some help with the bills. I figured that one other person wouldn't raise the bills too much, and we could split them and he would have a place to live.

He left behind a string of what he claimed were very nasty housemates in AZ. Having lived with him for ten months, I can't help but wonder if Jack was the actual problem, because by the time he left I was at the end of my rope, and financially in far worse shape, then when he moved in.

So I wonder if because of what he brought with him, (his own nature to use and take and not give back, or help really) somehow brought out the color in what I already shared my house with. I mean there are fae here, and they could account for most of the activity. There is a powerful nature spirit that calls the woods outside my home his. Perhaps what I was sensing that was so angry and negative was actually the displeasure at his presence?

Normal at my house is good. It's Beltane Eve tonight, going to leave the fae some goodies.

Do you know the route he took when he moved to your house? Maybe something attached itself to him while he drove through or stopped somewhere during his trip. That might explain the paranormal things that happened during their drive to your house, and why the the things you experienced while he was there suddently stopped when he moved out. I'm glad to hear things are back to "normal" in your house. Thanks for sharing.
