I would be more than happy to hear your theory, but it's really up to Bluerose.

Bluerose - your dad's story isn't the first one I've read about "jingling" sounds. I honestly find these stories intriguing. I've never really figured out if they mean harm or if they are just "there," you know? There's a part of me, when I read the stories, that always thinks of the Sirens of Greek Mythology who lure men to their deaths. Kind of gruesome, I know, but I just can't help it. It's the mystery of it all, I guess. What would happen if... That kind of thing.

Anyway, I enjoyed your dad's story. Thank you for sharing it with us. And I, too, am glad he was okay 😊

I have a theory, which might be possible. And I sure am not trying to discredit your father Bluerose.
There are various criteria that needs be fulfilled for this theory to hold firm.
So I would need your permission and assistance Bluerose, to put forth my theory, or else not.

First, I want to say that your English was fine 😊. This was quite an enthralling account! Your father was indeed very brave to go investigate and then give chase! How odd it must have felt to chase after something he couldn't see but only hear!
