Maybe the OP is one of those kids from Children of the Corn::]

But seriously when in the heck is 2 0'clock midnight o.O Is Midnight the 8th day that the Beatles sang about in their song "8 days a week"? XD

God...I'm having too much fun here. If I can have fun instead of either peeing myself or scratching my head then something is in need of a dusty blanket.

I am in agreement with many others on here... What needs to be said has already been said. What was a child doing up at two o' clock midnight? (Ahem...must have some corn stuck in my throat.) also, what made you think it was a witch, and um, which village in the US did this take place again?

Ha,ha...Elf stone, yes - totally agreed... What we have here, seems to be nothing but corn. 😆

Ghostrider123, unless you can address some of these concerns, I am afraid this is going to be "comfortably covered" by a dusty Blanky... At least in this skeptic's mind.

I agree with Elfstone, because otherwise, the ghost hunters may have found her. Luckily they didn't get lost in corn wandering around at 2am at midnight in a strange village! 😆

Elf, are you SURE you weren't so lost that you ended up in Iowa? Now, THEY have corn.

If there was an Indian spirit wandering around Illinois she was probably lost. I've been lost in Illinois.

I called my friend and said, "I'm lost!"

She said, "what do you see?"

I said, "corn."

She said, "what else?"

I said, "there is nothing else! It's all corn!"

Weeeellllll...its not up to us to determine if its true or not...but, the op is asking for feedback... Its unusual in the us to call a place a village. In your area, they are called "towns" Thats what leading me to believe you are an immigrant? And along with Valkricrys info, your story would make sense culturally. As for all the activity... Time to have the house blessed. You are pretty strong to go through all that and be sane! Would like to hear the history of the paranormal activity going on with you and your family.

He asked HIM what does SHE want? - was it a bisexual spirit?

I have nothing to add that the previous posters hadn't said, other than the BS blanket has been stored and getting dusty for a long time... Is it time to bring it out? 😆 😆 😆

Is it just me or when you read one sentace in a story 99% of the time you know what is going on. I have a feeling that something is fishy. But hey nobody can be sure. I hope to hear from you and take care 😆

Well, I am from Illinois, and I've never heard of two o'clock midnight either.😆 No worries though... Probably meant two AM?
Ghostrider123, no offense meant, but your phrasing and use of the English language, does not strike me as American, were you just visiting Illinois?
The spirit with the feet turned backwards - are you speaking of a Churel? (*Churel: a female ghost of Indian folklore, well-known in North India and Pakistan. The word "churel" is also used colloquially for a witch. The true form of a churel is described as a hideous creature with long sagging breasts and unkempt hair. Often, her feet are backward; her toes in the back and heel in the front. *) That would explain your story's title.
Also where about in Illinois did this happen? It is not something I'm familiar with.

Hi Guys, I am on the fence on this. He said he was six when it happened. Now in the penultimate paragraph he says he is now 15. Then how come, he is an young adult and not a teenager.

Secondly, seeing a woman with white night gown and her legs turned the other side, just like how they take pictures in Indian horror movies. Too hard to believe the stuff. I wish to tell you that in India, there is a belief that the spirits/ghosts don't have legs.

Also, the second time, it was wearing a black dress and his uncle trying to communicate with the spirit and next few minutes it was gone.

He was also narrating other strange things that are happening around him in the house like hearing noises of cup breaking, pictures falling etc. These may be unrelated, I believe, to what he described earlier.

Still I find it very difficult to believe the narrative. No offence meant.

Regards and respects to you.

I don't want to sound horrible or rude, but have you been diagnosed with Schizophrenia? It could be related to your noises that you've been hearing at night.

One question: what did you and your uncle and this "witch" do in the "few moments" she stayed there before she disappeared? I mean no offence but I feel like that would be an awkward few moments.

There's a lot here I don't get. The title, the time discrepancy, the age discrepancy. 😕
Ah well. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. 😁

BJJ - I wondered the same thing. What made him arrive at that conclusion? Obviously "witch" means different things to different people, cause I sure wasn't getting that 😉 😆

Your story's title. I don't get it. This apparition was a witch? How did you arrive at this conclusion? Really curious about how you determined that...
But I reckon anything is possible at two o'clock at midnight. 😆 😆 😆
