WOW!
"If you want my attention you've got it. Are you here?"
What a brave! If I were you I couldn't say anything, and I even couldn't make a sound

justinwoo, my son was born in October of 1981, and he passed at the age of 20, in January of 2002. I'm not afraid of this spirit at all. It doesn't give off a bad vibe. Perhaps as Granny said, it only wanted to distract me from my sadness. With the passing of time, what I get to feeling is like being homesick, only it isn't for a place but a person.

How did you son died on the first month or the second. And don't be scared of that ghost as I know it was your son. Try shouting your son's name saying like pretend his name was Eric, so you say Eric please stop it I don't want to be creeped out. So don't scare me. See if that works. 😭

SDS, thank you.
It is a hard call, isn't it? I'd like to think that if it was my son, I would just some how know. Like now and then, I'll feel someone tap me on the shoulder and have no one either be close enough to have done it, or be alone. That's my mom. After she was diagnosed as terminal, she always told me that once she was gone, if someone tapped my shoulder and no one was there, not to be scared, because it would be her saying hi. Perhaps, it isn't even someone I know, but is transient? I don't know. What I do know, is it did not show itself to me (materialize) and I felt no threat. I also didn't feel any negative vibes. It was just a bit of weirdness 😆

Dear Val, I really feel sorry for the loss of your son. I am in two minds if it were your son or not doing things to draw your attention. One way I beg to differ with Arwen and Miracles that it could be your son. Because I think you two were and are quite fond of each other. So when you said that when the soda fell off the table that you got the attention of whatever was doing things to draw your attention, it stopped. But if it were your son, then he would still have made his presence known in a funny and well, more loveable way. I feel it that way.

On the other side, I also think that it could be your son because you said know that you have been celebrating Halloween for 20 years in a memorable way and perhaps he wanted you to continue it.

But one thing is sure, he will definitely show his love and affection to you and he will make you feel his presence in a way only you two will understand as a mother and son. Once again sorry for the loss of your son.

Regards and respects to you.

Rules of gravity? 😉 I don't think they apply here either 😆 OMG! C'mon already with the character requirement LOL

Dear Arwen and Miracles,
First, thank you for reading and commenting.
Your right, I didn't feel anything bad about the happenings, and I 'know' it wasn't meant to scare me. In fact except for a sever WTH moment with the table, at worst it was just annoying at times. But I still can't figure out why nothing on the table followed the rules of gravity. 😕 lol - now that IS like my son, "Let's drive Mom crazy," lol.

Val: Well, their distraction worked for minute, huh? 😆 I get the feeling this should be in the "helpful ghosties" category, even though it didn't seem like they were being very helpful at the time. A "pick-me-up". I like that. ❤

Val - Arwen beat me to it, so all I have left to say it I enjoy the journal style writing. Hopefully you'll find out if it was, indeed, your son letting you know, "Hey, Mom, it's just me 😉" or someone else wanting to try and bring you up.

I am so sorry about the loss of your son. How sad. I don't think I could celebrate Halloween or any holiday if something happened to my son. I wonder if his spirit is teasing you to try and make Halloween better for you, reminding you of the good time you had I don't sense anything bad about the events you describe more of a prankster in fun type thing
