What...just what? This does not really make sense. If anything, this is just a dream.

Our other members might be unwilling to risk offending you, but I do not care.
"mystic avenger," you've insulted our intelligence by expecting us to believe this. You disrespect us by refusing to make your own account and using your wife as a proxy for your tales. You disrespect your wife by hiding behind her name. Step out from her shadow, and tell your tales yourself. I still won't believe a word you say, but at least you'll be saying it for yourself.

I hope you don't feel we picking on your story, for I can assure you that is not the case. There are just a few things some members don't understand and I felt there were a few unnecessary things stated that make people question the story.

lol at first I didn't really have much to say, but after reading everyone else's comments, there are some doubts in this story. Lots don't add up, such as you started off the story stating you are writing on behalf of Mystical Avengers as his wife, but then at the end of the story you put yourself as a third person... "I will have my wonderful wife twisterwatcher7 type more of my life long experiences if you like?"...Perhaps keeping it simple would be more helpful for readers to understand and believe, and also more creditable for you as a writer. I guess we'll just have to wait for the Twisterwatch7 to reply to get some clarification.

I have the same question as babygoatpuller, how could anyone see a silhouette of anything under all those covers in all that dark? Or the light of his brother's candle as he blew it out?

Kind of random, but out of curiousity, why did you choose to name your husband "Mystical Avenger" rather than just something like Fred...

I find it hard to believe that it really was Satan. I do believe in him because I believe in God, but if it really was Satan would he really just disappear? Something tells me he'd try to put up more of a fight.

This was hard to read. The "abuse" you suffered as a 10 year old 60 pound child was the hardest part for me. As for the rest...
Please help me to understand about the blanket/quilt situation. How could anyone see a silhouette of anything under all those covers in all that dark?
I think ifihadyoux had it right in her first comment.

My original comment probably sounded more harsh then it was meant to and I am sorry. I personally don't believe in Satan but I do believe in non human entities as well as them being 'not nice'. I believe my train of thought was going towards the disbelief because it just sounds like a script for a movie. You're really lucky and were probably backed up by someone powerful.

I can't say it was Satan, but I know having faith helps keep bad things away. However it is the faith you have within yourself, or whatever you choose to follow. Everyone's "God" could be different, so those words don't necessarily mean they work for everyone. I have a strong faith in myself, and just goodness itself, and it has worked and protected me all these years. I believe it worked for you because as a child your grandmother had that influence on you and depending what religion you follow, saying those words gave you comfort thus it gave you courage. It is that courage feeling that saved you, in my opinion. Thanks for sharing.

... I don't know what to make of this story. Just magically you told Satan himself to go away and poof he did? I've seen and read of documentaries and stories of how in exorcisms they had to say that not once but several times. I am going to say your husband was just dreaming. It sounded too much like a "story" instead of an "experience" for me to believe it.
