The tree at the corner is a fig tree. And rather an ugly one.
And liza25 it might be demonic. But it definitely is evil. I can say so because of the feeling I have when I hear it and moreover due to the nightmares I started having since I experienced it. One thing I skipped mentioning is about the kind of nightmares I have. They are horrible. I wake up in sweats with my heart running fast and me feeling sick. They are mostly about someone trying to harm a small kid. Mostly trying to murder a small girl. Once I saw a man who murdered a small boy. And I told this nightmare to my best friend when it occurred. My sister was pregnant at that time. And the same week I saw the dream, my sister had miscarriage. She was nine months pregnant and doc said her baby moved suddenly and the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck and suffocated him. That was a baby boy.

Hello everyone. Anklets are ankle bracelets. In india sometimes classical dancers have anklets with bells attached to them called as ghunghru. And if you ask me what I heard sounds more like ghunghru because it's loud and clear.

The only thing worse than opening a door or turning on the light and finding something is finding nothing. Creeps you out everytime. I wonder if that tree was a lynching tree? You might find lynching records at the courthouse. Thanks for your story!

sorry to ask but where I'm from anklets to me are ankle bracelets, is this what you mean or does anklets mean something different to you?

Quite a scary story! Well! Why would it always come in threes? The time i.e 3.00 am or around 3.00 am. Then you said, the sound came in threes, the pattern you noticed of moving of the anklets.

It might be something demonic. Because I've heard that demonic things have a specific pattern like this. You might have seen it in the movie The Conjuring? Or it might be related to the tree being haunted and having a past.

This seems like a residual haunting when walking the same steps at the same time, but in your house it seems intelligent or grew more power from scaring you could this be a dead police officer or something along these lines if you do some research threw public records you should find about any deathsin your street.
