Hollyhock...There's a man on here called JerryB, who's recently posted a story called 'Something Strange In The Woods', which you may find of interest! You can look it up by typing the title in the search box at the top of the page!

Lol...I see you've considered most things Hollyhock... Except for ETs! Do you think that's a possibility? You did have an hour of missing time and they're very good at that, so may be worth considering, even if you don't believe they exist!

Rook has already provided his valuable suggestion... I also think it was the matter of 'Lost time' I am just wondering after how much time you finally reached to home? Thanks for sharing this was a scary indeed!

And that Bermuda triangle thing kind of creeps me out. I like to find the logical answer to problems and I don't even know where to begin with this one.

Yes. No normal deer would follow a human home. I've considered spirit animals, forest spirits, and rabies. LOL
BTW I found the pics. They're on my computer. I should be able to send them later tonight.

What a fascinating and weird experience! Rook could be thinking along the right lines with the Bermuda Triangle. What gets me though, is that when you set off for home, 'you were heading in the right direction' and then you found yourself 'an hour away in the opposite direction'! It seems like something 'turned you around'! I know this sounds completely off the wall, but have you ever considered that the deer who followed you home wasn't 'really' a deer?

Hollyhock,
Thank you.
The closest thing to this I have heard of is an account from the Bermuda Triangle... A gentleman took off from one of the islands heading to Florida and flew through a 'storm cloud tunnel' and somehow his plane (which could handle a top speed of about 275-300knots) managed to average closer to 550-600 knots (a speed which would have destroyed his small aircraft). His fuel gauges even showed he made the flight in about half the time it should of taken...
Hummm I wonder.
(Please do not 'quote' my aircraft speed nor the speed the plane averaged... I am pulling this from memory...)
Respectfully,
Rook

There was a storm rolling in. A ways off, yet. Not close enough for me to worry about. The wind wasn't bad at first, but along with thunder, it picked up when I started walking back. I got out of the woods, so to speak, just as it started to downpour.
I do believe I still have the deer pics. I'll check my laptop when I get home.

In the place the First... Instant Favorite
In the Place the Second... What you describe sounds just the opposite of 'Lost Time'. In your case you went a longer distance in a shorter amount of time.
Do you remember ANYTHING else about that day? A strange 'hue' to the sky, something 'off' about the deer or other local wildlife, the color of the tress or grass? Any 'little' thing may 'drop a hint' as to what may have happened.
Do you still have the picture of those two deer? My gut tells me they play some 'part' in this experience but I can not 'place' what.

Rook
