"It was mid-winter, maybe October,..." - Excuse me, but India stands in the northern hemisphere, hence the winter season is from December to March. 🤔

So, your uncle fell from the rooftop of a two levels house, got unconscious, his friends found him and the first thing after he regained consciousness was to start roaming the neighborhood asking for the history of the building?!
Did anyone think that, at that moment, it was a priority to take your uncle to a hospital?! 🤔

I know, it looks again like I'm nitpicking your story, but since you seem to have a plethora of 'experiences' to share it would be a good idea to include as much details as possible in order to avoid your stories to look like big chunks of Swiss cheese.😊
