Dear talib, I am an Indian and I have been regular to this site since last several years. Even my write-ups stood rejected. There were some errors in my communication earlier, which the members queried and I have answered. I have been in this field for quite a long time my friend. I have visited many sites and I find that YGS is by far one of the best. I have also commented about many posters, Indians or otherwise and when I am skeptical, I do comment and express my views. I definitely don't think that this site is prejudiced against YGS. I am not a mod and I don't defend any of the posters. But, what I feel I am telling you. Please don't cast aspersions about this site just because some people comment about stories of Indian origin.
I am over 50 years of age and I also know about our Police Department and that doesn't mean that autopsy is not required in the case of suicide of a teenager and that too, when he left a suicide note. I am trained in law too. So let us be honest on certain facts. I don't mean to offend you but I am putting the facts as it is prevalent in our country. Such comments from persons like you would paint as if India is lawless and the fact is that it isn't even though there are some corrupt practices in police department.
Sorry Mods, please do pardon me for my long comment that has got nothing to do with the write-up.
Regards and respects to you and all.

You know nothing about Indian Police, most are outright corrupt to the core. Most of the times its next to impossible for a common man to file a Police complaint or FIR (First Information Report) for a crime, as the officer would turn them away unless they are some influential person or filthy rich.
This was an open and shut suicide case, autopsy is not required in every dead case under Indian law, there was a suicide note, family witnesses and there was no complaint about the suicide been a murder, so the Police closed the case and handed over the body on the same day.
Also in most suicide cases Indian Police are not very keep to investigate other angles like murder, unless there is a specific complaint about the suicide been a homicide, as that would require an investigation.
I have seen a suicide myself in the neighbourhood, the body was returned the same day by the Police after an inquiry, so Meghna's story is completely believable.

Talbit, are you kidding me?! No way is Lady Glow leading some pack. You've probably read some Donut crap, a member with multiple names who was from India. He's a troll, all trolls set out to make good folk look bad. Don't fall for it. Some of the best members on YGS are from India.
Jeesh, what is it with this place lately it's like faker central or something.
Maggie, embrace honesty, wish you all the best.

Meghna,
I am not making light of your loss. As someone who has lost many family members and friends, I can tell you whether it's only one or a hundred you never get use to it. You just get better at coping, hopefully. Some will hit you harder than others, I think this has something to do with the degree of closeness you shared, and the why.
There are three steps you need to take for your healing process; acknowledge your pain, feel it, and let it go. You can't save someone that does not want to be saved. That's why court mandated rehabs (drugs/alcohol) don't 'take' most times. The person does not really want 'cured'. If someone really wants to commit self murder, they'll find a way no matter what you say or do.
Find yourself a counselor, or therapist to help you sort yourself out. There's no shame in getting help.

SDS, thank you for your input. I'm sorry to hear of your Mama's passing. Loosing a loved one, no matter why, is never easy. However, what you said made sense. In her case, there was no unanswered questions, no shroud of mystery, so she could be laid to rest quickly.

To roylynx,
Im sorry if I'm confusing you, but I don't know why the investigation got over so quick or why didn't police took this case seriously. ALl I know is I lost a very good friend of mine and why did he commit suicide still shivers me. I'm sorry I won't be able to help you in this, because when I reached I have said every detail which I have seen. All I know is the police did confirm that he had committed suicide and that they have returned every belonging to his family.
I even don't want to know why police didn't take any serious step. I'm sorry if I'm coming a little rude. But I'm feeling too sad for my friend that's all.
Hi Val,
Thanks for reading my story. I'm very very sorry for your loss.
I try my best to distract my mind from this. I read novels, or do some drawings of cartoons but while doing all this I still have tears in my eyes. Actually it's my first time I'm experincing this, so I'm too sensitive about this topic. I know my pain is nothing in front of you because you have lost your son. Please don't mind me saying this I'm just expressing my feelings.
Im sorry if my stories seems to be made up, but I'm just writing all this which I have experinced or heard from my relatives. I share this experinece over this site just to make myself feel a little light. But everyone over here are just concerned about that why the investigation got over so fast. Guys, I have lost a friend, I'm not concerned about the investigation, all I'm concerned is that the reason behide his suicide, which I know was so stupid.
Its good for his family that they didn't suffer so much for getting all his belongings.
Guys, I don't have any intentions to offend you all, I'm just saying my point of view.
Hi Lady-glow,
You never trouble me, I know because of some stories you have stopped believing, but I would like to say you something, if possible please be a little soft hearted, because I'm too sensitive about every comment I get. No problem with your questions, but if you don't believe please don't make a joke out of it. I'm not offending you, its just I felt a little bad about your comment of bajirao singham. I couldn't took that as a joke maybe my fault. I'm just saying what I'm feeling right now.😭
Hi Sds,
Thanks for reading my story.
And also thanks for helping out Val and Lady-glow.
For your doubts, I have seen his death in my dream, then whatever happened was reality and not a dream. Yes, I'm completed my 10th in March Year 2014, and my 12th on March Year 2016. After my 12th I started doing job because I became 18 years old in Feb 2016. I'm doing my studies with my job. I'm doing correspondence cource (in which I only have to attend college when I have exams). I think now your doubts are cleared.
And one more information, I'm a girl not a boy. 😆. Well you made me laugh at this. Thank you for making me smile.
If you still have any doubts, please do ask questions.
Regards to all

Val, I would address you first. I could understand the feelings my friend. To be frank, I don't think even if the police station is within 2 minutes of distance from where the suicide had taken place, it would have been so easy to finish of the investigation and handover the cadaver to the loved ones. The autopsy need to be done, especially in case of a suicide of a teenager.
Still I would like to say one thing. There are some communities, especially Brahmins, where the cremation is done quite fast. My mother died around 10 a.m. On 24th June,2000, and her body was handed over to us around 1.00 p.m. And no sooner than we brought it home, we creamted her around 4 p.m. After the rituals. But, she was 54 years and was admitted in hospital for quite a few days.
But, in this case, he committed suicide, a teenager and that too after leaving a suicide note, I don't think it would have been that easy for them to handover the letters, suicide note etc., without closing the case. And that too within 5 hours. Quite not possible.
What I feel about this write-up is this. I don't want to offend the O/P. He might have definitely had a dream about his friend's demise, may be suicide. But, I do feel that all other aspects which he stated might have come to his notice latter and not as he has stated.
Again, he said that he was doing his 10th standard in 2014 and he said that he was going to office in November, 2016. Did he discontinue his studies and went for a job?
I am on the fence on this write-up except to the extent that he might have had a dream.
Val, sorry for your loss, my friend.
With Regards and Respects,
SDS

Meghna: there's too little to say after Val's comment.
You always have an answer for everything, unfortunately, in this case an "I know nobody would believe that a suicide case to be solved so fast. But I honestly don't have any answer to this because I'm shocked too."
Even if the police station's two minutes away from your friends' house, that wouldn't help in speeding up the investigation, an autopsy would have to be performed in a forensic lab and police stations don't usually count with one. And there's no way the investigation could had been performed completely in Rajesh's room.
I know, Indian policemen and law enforcers may work under different regulations and protocols than the ones I know but, I'm sure they do much more than just say "Oh, this person is dead, we are sorry,... Let's go." (I know, sometimes I tend to exaggerate).
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and by this I do not mean I consider your story to be a 50/50 chance possible or impossible, more like a 99.9/0.1 % 😐
Like Val I, too, hope that some of our other Indian members could voice their opinion, so far only rbasirredy has commented on your story and s/he doesn't look convinced of the possibility of such a fast investigation.

Maggi,
It is beyond difficult for me to write this, but I feel I must. As you know, my son was the victim of suicide, so stories like this tend to hit me pretty hard. I know to well the self-destructive game of 'what if', and 'if only' we play. Yeah, even though I KNEW I had done everything humanly possible to save my son, I still blamed myself for failing to save him from himself, and gave myself mental thrashings. If you can you should get grief counseling, or talk with a clergy member.
I know everyone handles grief differently, and mourning carries its own calendar. He passed in 2002, and some days it still feels like it just happened. Other days, it's blurry feeling, like it's shrouded in fog - part of the long ago and far away.
In my case, I plunged into creating; with in a week I had written 14 poems, 2 songs, 4 short stories, and a novella. I had also sketched 9 or 10 pictures and painted a mural - anything to evade and abate the acute agony that surrounded me. This is how I coped, along with very long conversations with my God. Like I said everyone is different.
I can only speak from experience, and I know the investigation into my son's suicide took a lot longer than 5 or 6 hours. The detectives, uniforms, and coroner were here that long easy. His clothes were never returned to me. I only got the letters he left back after the case was closed nearly a month later. Because it was a suicide they had to do an autopsy and a toxicology report on him. Then there was a formal inquest before they would even release his body for burial. Anyway, even though I 'know' that's how it was here, I realize you are far, far away and things could be different. Perhaps some of our other Indian members could help me wrap my head around the time frame you give for the investigation.

"I know nobody would believe that a suicide case to be solved so fast. But I honestly don't have any answer to this because I'm shocked too. Hope you can understand this time."
Err... No, sorry I am mazed again, so this case was close in just 6 hours? If it is still ongoing, understandable... But what? Solved? Are you sure? I thought you gave me the link saying that the case is still ongoing? No?
The dream part, OK we could understand the situation... Maybe...
OK wait, we know that the story does not have to be so detailed, understandable due to the situation, but the way you are trying to lead us through is very confusing...

Hi spiritwaiting,
Thanks for reading my story.
And yes maybe, I was not meant to save him, but if I had any power to do, I would have saved him. Our bond was so strong that his death came to me, maybe I had a chance to save him, but as you said it was maybe not meant to be.
Honestly, while writing this my eyes are almost water filled...[cry]
Thank you again for your words. I'm feeling a little better now.

Maggirockz13,
So deeply sorry for your loss of a special friend.
It is saddening and incredibly hurtful, when you have a dream of something like that, and you truly can't do anything about it.
You have to know, if you were meant to save him in some way, you would have been able to, but maybe it wasn't meant to be.
Could it be, you were able to see this, because it was preparing you in some way, to beable to deal with his death?
I hope you, and your friends family are all doing better.
Again Sorry for your loss
Thank you for sharing

Hi Poliexterly,
Thanks for reading my story
When I reached Rohan said me that the investigation are over and they admitted that Rajesh had committed suicide.
They couldn't get anything from the clothes so the letters and clothes were given back to the family members (according to the rules). When I saw the clothes, it was wraped in a plastic bag (trasparent).
I hope I have cleared your doubts.

Hi lady-glow,
Thanks for reading my story as I was expecting your comment.
About your question, when I reached his house, home ritual were done were the body is kept for a hour or something, then his body was taken to the burial ground were he is supporsed to be burned. Due to absense of his father, the elder relatives like his uncle's are suppose to do the ritual in "SHAMSHAN BHUMI". (Burial ground). There it takes time to do all the rituals. Sorry for not mentioning this. Rohan said me his body has been taken there for futher rituals. Police station was 2 minutes far from his house due to which police investigation didn't take time I think. But according to my knowledge I have mentioned what I have seen. ANd honestly, Bajirao singham was not the police officer in charge.
I hope I have cleared your doubts this time very well. I don't know how I'm writing this because honestly I had a very deep bond with him and I have written whatever I have seen.

Hi elnoraemily,
Thanks for reading my story.
About your doubts, Police did take the clothes and after the investigation was complete it was given back. For more details you can see the comment I have adressed to roylynx and lady-glow. If then too you have any doubts further, you are most welcome to ask questions.

Hi Temilicious,
Thanks for reading my story.
It was first time for me having a dream like this one. It almost broke me from inside as I couldn't save him. Thank you so much for your understanding and I feel bad for you for having such dreams. Hope you get out of this or try to understand the signs you get.
And yes, he had said me in his letter the reason for this drastic step, all I can say is that he did for a girl, but won't be able to give any further details about this as it personal. Hope you understand.
Takecare.
Hi Kikigirl,
Thanks for reading my story.
Thank you for your understanding but I have a question myself for you if you won't mind me asking.
What did you mean by this? "...They say he wants them for his garden, and that they do not deserve to suffer on earth any longer such things as loss, worries, money and all these terrible things because, they are too special and not made for this place. They are too special..."
Hope you won't feel offended by my comment.
Takecare.
Hi rbasireddy,
Thanks for reading my story.
Welcome for getting your doubts cleared.
I know it unbelievable for you all to believe this that the investigation got completted so fast, but I have written what I have known and got to see. I also know that indian police are slow in investigation as I was shocked too, to know that everything is cleared and its a case of suicide. Maybe this case was not a mystery at all. It was just a simple suicide case. But for me its a punishment, for not able to save him.
😢
I hope I have cleared all your doubts.
Takecare.
Hi sonali,
Thanks for reading my story.
Good to hear your doubts are cleared, if still you have any doubts you can see the comment I have adressed to Radha (rbasireddy).

Hi Tweed,
Thanks for reading my story.
Im sorry I'm asking you this stupid question, but honestly I couldn't understand your comment. If you could please say it once more with simple english which I can understand. Sorry for the trouble. Your comment went bouncer for me. Hope you understand my problem.

Hi Roylynx,
Thank you for understanding what I meant to say, I know nobody would believe that a suicide case to be solved so fast. But I honestly don't have any answer to this because I'm shocked too. Hope you can understand this time too. 😊
Im just hiding one thing is the suicide letter details that all.
If you still have any doubts, you are most welcome to ask.

Takecare.
Takecare.
Hi sonali,

Hi Roylynx,
Thank you for understanding what I meant to say, I know nobody would believe that a suicide case to be solved so fast. But I honestly don't have any answer to this because I'm shocked too. Hope you can understand this time too. 😊
Im just hiding one thing is the suicide letter details that all.
If you still have any doubts, you are most welcome to ask.
Takecare
(To everyone: If you all still have any questions or doubt, please do ask me, you all are most welcome)

maggirockz13; Thank you very much for your effort.
I am being "picky" for certain reasons you know, I know it's a sad experience though.
I do have reports (those done by my investigator friends) about dreams and déjà vu.
Well, bout the site you gave me... That actually gave me an idea that this story could not be happened in a short period like that, yes, I have read every single details thank you. Are you hiding certain things that you don't want us to know? If so that's OK we understand privacies.

Hey Meghna,
Thanks for sharing your experience. Its really sad that you have to go through this, losing a friend kills! I was confused too at first but now all queries are cleared. Stil like rbasireddy says, how can the police hand over those things in just 6 hrs? 😕
My sincere condolences to your friend and his family.
Have a good day!
Best wishes and,

Hey Meghna, Thanks for replying back to the queries.
No offence but just a small hunch, even in a clear case of suicide, it is hard to believe that the Police have handed over the clothes and letters in just 6 hours.
Thanks

Hi roylynx,
Thank you for reading my story.
About your question, Police had confirmed that it was a suicide case and they had closed the investigation, because he had committed suicide and because of whom he has committed that person cannot be punished as it's mentioned in a rule.

Please do go through this and you will understand what I mean.
As a rule, After the investigation the letters and clothes are given back to the family. Police keep a copy of that evidence.
Thanks and Reagrds

Hi Maggi,
Maybe things in India are done differently maybe you can explain. I have the same questions as the others.
I too often get warning dreams of deaths, pregnancies etc. But never as detailed. Most times I never know who exactly is going to die, only that it's a family member or friend. It's frustrating cause why forewarn me of something I can't change... Or maybe I just haven't figured how to read the signs yet.
If you did lose your friend my condolences to you all. Suicides are the worst to deal with; too many questions left hanging... Kind of like now.

I would like some clarification:
1) Why would the police leave the clothes they found his body in? Even if they were released after an investigation, it seems odd that they would be back on the bed and that quickly. Did they leave the clothing there, but take him?
2) Did everything - the investigation, the rituals, and the police confirming a cause of death, returning items to the family- happen within 5 hours? Because that is an extremely small period of time for that to happen in. Did that happen later? The way you wrote it makes it seem that you arrived at 1 PM and the police were done with everything and the rituals were already being done?
I'm in a different nation, so there may be a gap here with cultures or language, but when someone in my family passed in their sleep from natural causes, the police were there for at least 6 hours and the personal items --such as clothing-- weren't returned until after an examination of the body at the hospital.

What. The. WHAT?!
"..."Morning? What time?" I asked. "Around 8 am, he locked himself inside the room,..."
"... When I reached it was almost 1pm as I stay too far from Mira road and also I was struck in huge traffic."
"He was gone; police confirmed that it's a suicide case. Every ritual was done, because his father was not at home, he was in Dubai for official work,..."
Let's see: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 (1 pm) = 5 hours
Do you mean the police did the proper investigation, there was a burial or cremation and whatever other ritual/s there are practiced during an Indian funeral service... All of these within a period of 5 hours?! 🤔
NO WAY!

It's strange to me that his clothes would be on his bed right after his death. Roylynx makes a good point with that too!
Wouldn't they have taken his suicide letter too? 😕

How long could that be that you guys were able to go into the room again where there was a death case? There are still left overs like letters and clothing after the police investment? How?

Please allow me to offer you a few thoughts.
When a person goes out in public they surrender a certain amount of privacy just by the act of being in public.
In the same way, when a person comes to this site and writes a story for others to read they must understand they open themselves up to questions and perhaps some criticisms. On this site and others like it many people will use the platform to see if they can tell a good story and tune their writing skills. As I'm sure you know this site is for sharing TRUE experiences and not to spin a campfire tale so others will ooooh and awe and wet themselves with fear and inflate the ego of the writer. I'm not saying this is your intentions or actions, only that it is something that is a constant hassle to deal with.
Also when reading a story I myself am looking at all of the details to try and form a good mental picture of what is happening in the experience. When parts seem odd and abnormal it can make the whole story seem just that, a story and not an experience. There is a HUGE difference.
I don't care what part of the world it is or what the cultural difference is, death is a very big event and not treated lightly.
I'm not saying your story isn't true but I'm going to defend my fellow members who find it weird that a person dies and the police step in the room, make a quick conclusion, wrap it all up and are out of there in such a short time. Again, death is just to serious. I also will defend fellow members for looking at details to see if things add up.
Please understand there are some members here who offer some extremely helpful advice and want nothing more than to help others get through some tough times.
I really hope this helps you to understand why you are getting many of the questions and comments you are getting.
Best to you
Randy
