Hello everybody. I don't want to be harsh. But, after reading the "story", I feel that it is like a movie scene. Hard to believe. And with O/P deciding not to participate in the discussions, quite hard to discuss or comment further about it.

Well, dykj9, if you think you are possessed by a spirit, first of all try to know about it, like trying to do a research on the history of the place you think you have encountered the spirit, think of any urban legends or rumors that had traumatized you for long, etc. By knowing it you might concur with the fear inside you, and win it. If you can't try to go to a doctor to do a therapy, if still it does not work then try a cleansing method, there is lots of such methods around I believe and there is some people here too whom could give you an advice if you ask.

My way (or my family's way) of doing a cleansing is to re-arrange all the furniture at home, clean and wipe the house with salt water made of natural salt, open all the windows and let the winds inside the house (or just let the air flow so that the air is not still), we also placed a crystal cluster for all perpose.

If you are into gemstones, it is said that black onyx are spiritually protective against harmful stuff and any negativity. Do a research yourself. Gemstones are popular now days. Cheers!

lady-glow - You just crack me up! Are we going to the toothbrush theory again?! We had so much fun on that one that I've saved the story on my faves 😆

After having my car hijacked and my handbag (purse) with all its contents stolen, together with my car, I have taken to carrying a toothbrush in my pocket. Who needs mace or pepper spray? If the multi-functional toothbrush works on the "otherly-worldly", why not on the living!?

Simply being confronted with a toothbrush would leave any criminal totally confused and the victim at an advantage 😆

After all, the soul of the OP was displaced by the force of the impact with the shadow figure. It's a shame that dykj9 went to the washroom that night and only washed his face... It would have been better if he had gotten his toothbrush for protection against the evil entity lurking in the dark!

My advice is to go back to the camp site during a stormy night and dance naked, while holding a toothbrush, around the flying fox building at 3:00 am. Three times clockwise direction and then another three times counterclockwise. 😆

Oooohhh this sounds like the yellow snow event at the Himalayas. OBS course indeed.

I agree, though - the request for help followed by the 'will not participate' is baffling and frustrating. Perhaps it was clicked in error, one can only hope. I also agree with ladyglow, there isn't enough information here to give much advice short of recommending a cleansing and perhaps a consultation with a religious or spiritual advisor according to the OP's beliefs.

Mack - Being a pest here again. Did I perhaps misunderstand you?
