Thank you all for your condolences! It's funny how the more time passes, even just a couple of weeks, that the bad parts kind of dissolve. I've found that to be true with the rest of the family also. After speaking with some of her friends at the service, they too noticed personality traits out of character for Mia over the last few years, before she was diagnosed. It is such a cruel disease and sadly, it does change a person for the worse. 😢

I'm sorry for your loss.
Life always ends but love stays eternal. It was nice that Mia came to "show" you that now she's free from the prison of Alzheimer's.

The good times you shared together will remain with you forever.

The red designer dress was a great choice.

That's so sad. I'm so sorry you lost Mia.

What a horrible way to go. Starving to death and losing all that weight and yet she still hung in there. She must have been strong.

First of all, I am very sorry for your loss...

I have no doubt Mia got around for one last goodbye as herself. I say "herself" because Alzheimer does make the person a different one.

I know some things are hard to hear, especially if they are not true. But try to remember Mia as she trully was and not as who she wasn't. 😉
