Just a thought, but -the way I understand it- only negative entities are effected by cleansings. Perhaps, he truly is a positive entity but isn't very good at expressing his meaning. In that way, he reminds me of a dear friend - he is a quite tall, strong, imposing fellow, looks like a real tough but is sweet as a kitten, a real gentleman and absolutely brilliant but he is hamstrung by certain social challenges that make it so he rather comes on like Frankenstein or Lurch and most women are, tragically, afraid of him.

Granted, this woman's experience is with a female entity and not sexual in any way but the overall nature of the attachment seems similar to me and the ultimate solution might give you some ideas.

And I am uncertain whether I have shared this with you but I once did a great deal if research on folk remedies for such things (museum work can be so very interesting) and though unable to lay hands on my notes at this time, here is a link to a website I stumbled across that features a decent smattering of some of the more well recognized remedies. Your posts made me realise I'm not alone. It was hard trying to understand what was going on in my flat/unit until I started getting advice from members on YGS.

I've done the things that have been suggested and can only cross my fingers now. 😨

A couple of days ago I did a self cleansing as Jubeelee, Curious Dee, and Twighlight suggested. People in the park must have thought I was weird or crazy. Lol I had my shoes off and I was focusing on all the bad energy leaving my body and replaced by good energy.

Only time will tell now.

You're right about the troll, he/she needs to get a life. I wasn't paying attention to the karma points but since I've heard it mentioned here before I check my points yesterday and compared to today it look like I'm minus a few. Oh well, if voting negative makes them happy then so be it. I see the good points when they are given and the positive comments and that's all I really care about. Makes me feel like I maybe helped someone.

Hello Haven,

Yes, I have been down. My brother passed away in August. I'm still trying to come to grips with it. Some days I'm great and then on other days I think about him a lot a feel sad he's gone.

I'm so glad I've found YGS. The members here are so supportive. It's incredible how helpful and knowledgeable everyone is.

I'm sorry to hear you're going through similar dramas of your own. 😨 You are right, we have to continue to cleanse and do what we can to keep the bad guys away.

I'm sorry to hear your having trouble with this pesky ghost again. The only advise I can give is for you not to give up on doing the cleansings. I can tell you from my experience, having performed one successful cleansing in one home only to have another in my second home not work the first time. I kept trying and it seems that things have quieted down a little.

On why 'it' came back - have you experienced any changes in your life lately, maybe even in your mood? I seem to be drawn to people that are sad and/or depressed, I often start feeling that way myself after being around them, that is when I start noticing a lot of activity picking up in my home. I also know that we can pick up a lot of bad or negative energy from places we have visited or people we have interacted with, carrying a crystal or some kind of talisman with you will help get rid of that bad energy so you don't bring it into your home.

I am going through a similar situation as you, trying to cleanse myself and my home of whatever negative energy is around. I will share with you anything new that I try that will work for me. Know that you are not alone. Keep us posted.

I'm going to do what you've suggested tomorrow morning. I'm going to go for a walk to the park and take off my shoes and visualise all the negative energy flowing down to the earth and good energy to replace it.

When I get home I will continue with the shielding ritual on me after a shower.

I don't have rosemary soap. I have Niva 😕

I will have a look at the grocery store before coming back home.

I'm going to do some googling into self cleansing now after I reply to you and see what else is necessary.

Miandra, perhaps you should try what Dee and Twilight suggest: personal cleansing and shielding. Sometimes we can build up negativity from people and things around us that may attract certain unwanted entities.

When Rook was helping me with personal cleansing, he suggested going for a walk in the park or any garden where your feet can touch the soil, taking a few deep breaths and visualizing all negative 'energy/emotions' emptying from the body and feet, and into the earth. This is 'grounding' and it neutralises any bad energies. Stand there for a few minutes and let the 'bad' out then 'visualize' positive energy flowing into your body.

After that, you can set your personal shield using Rook's method: "you can create a shield for yourself using the 'home shield' technique but instead of focusing on your home visualize the 'flame' simply surrounding you instead of your home... Best time to do this is after a nice shower using a rosemary-scented soap (rosemary is good for purification and protection)."

Then meditate, keep your thoughts clear, calm and focused. Drink a glass of warm milk and sleep in peace. 😊

The really scary thing wasn't Steven but the actual situation. When I was using my arms to hit him off it felt like I was hitting air. (in other words, my arms went through him).

If anyone knows what sort of crystals I should use and a link to a website where I can get them, I'd be really grateful.

I don't understand why he came back. It was for one night only, but regardless he got through the ritual.

I have a gold cross around my neck which I dipped in holly water now. Hopefully that and focusing the ritual in the bedroom will keep him out.

Good to see you again.

About Steven, I don't get scared of him, just the situation.

I do the ritual all over the house with the insence and sage and sweeping dirt outside, leaving all the windows and doors open etc, but the last bit you have to light a candle in the center of the room and chant and create a shield of white light around you. I did that in the lounge room and now I do it in the bedroom.

The hag hasn't returned so the ritual is working at keeping her away thank goodness.

I bought a gold cross and necklace. I took it to church and dipped it in holly water and put it around my neck immediately after dipping it.

I've put sage on all the window ledges and salt on doors inside and outside.

Spirits are attracted to me.😨 I have to learn to live with it. I also need to encourage Steven to go to the light. I think he's lost and very lonely.

I know we've talked about this experience already under one of my old submissions on here, but I still wanted to comment on this here. I'm still shocked as to why Steven would be back now, with you regularly cleansing your home. I couldn't imagine having to experience this, and feeling helpless on what to do. Have you tried getting yourself cleansed? Perhaps that may help keep him away from you. I know you said that your lounge room is where your focus point to the cleansing is (I'm not sure if I worded that right), and that you mentioned trying your room as to where you finish the cleansing at instead, has that helped you out in any way? With me not being really experienced in what to do about supernatural things, I hate that I'm unable to give any helpful advice. The only thing I can think of that may be helpful, is trying to get yourself cleansed. The bright side at least, is that it's only him that's bothering you again, instead of both him and the hag. I just don't understand why he's back though. I wish you the very best in being able to fix this problem, and that you can finally be back at peace in your own home again. Please keep us updated on any changes. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

Sorry to hear Steven has made a reappearance. You mentioned that you have been doing Rook's cleansing, "Mainly in my lounge room.". I'm pretty sure the cleansing must be completed throughout your home, every room, top to bottom. Also, have you done the shielding portion? If the cleansing wasn't performed throughout the entirety of your home, along with not shielding, perhaps this is why Steven was able to 'sneak through'?

Just a thought anyway. Hopefully, doing a complete cleansing will have Steven packing his bags for good. 😊
