Please excuse me, Shelby.
Hey Rhodes,
You are talking about right in the center of the van in the background, right? That is also the section of the photo that drew my attention the most when first provided with the photograph. I feel that there is something there, but I have no concrete proof. All I really saw was a type of mist, someone else actually saw that it was indeed SOMETHING that looked much different π.
That whole section of fenced in stones just feels so interesting to me, I wonder who is buried there? I would also like to know what type of ornamentation is on that one tombstone...
Thank you.

Sorry for keep writing one comment after another Mustang. I think your outlined robed-like figure is not sitting as I see it but standing and I'm almost certain it's wearing overalls. I've spent a whole day trying to analyze the pic, it's fascinating!
To Whitebuffalo, if you can see Mustang's hooded apparition, focus right on the opposite side between the tree and the huge headstone.
Sorry for the interruption again π

Sorry, I guess "a man in white clothing standing in front of a headstone" does sound a bit more descriptive than "that light appears to look a bit more "drawn out" than the other light coming through the rest of the trees. Also, it is a bit more misty..." I can not see things all that well with just clicking on the photoπ, sorry, guys.
Thank you.
Thank you.

rhodes68, mustang did all the outlines, I merely enhanced the photo a bit with contrast and sharpness in order to better detect the details.

The more I look at it, the more it seems as if the two figures are facing one another or are standing over the same headstone.

I can see it's a very transparent figure. You can clearly make out the pants and shirt he's wearing and even the head and face which is no more than shadows. When I saw the pic the very first time, I was drawn to that particular spot right away before seeing anything else. I doubt it's anything solid because even the headstones at a greater distance don't look so tranparent. I even enlarged the pic and focused on that one and it still looks more tranparent. π¨

Mustang hi, look to the left of the figure that Martin outlined. Not the one closed to the gate, the one under the tree where a sort of face appears. On the left of it, right between a large headstone and the iron fence inside the cemetery, right across the outlined figure. Is that another statue I see or a man in white clothing standing in front of a headstone?
Martin, can you see that?

Shelby, I'm a man. 'Jamie' isn't actually my real name, but I've been known by it my whole life.
You mentioned that you don't want to post photos of your kids. Fair enough, but what if you blurred out their faces?
This second ghost behind the iron gates is interesting. However I think it could be another headstone. If you do go back, please do investigate that one. I'd be very interested to hear what you find.
Personally I don't see anything unusual about the position of the shadow man. He looks proportionate to the man to his left and right under that shelter (please investigate the shelter too).

Hello Shelby. I see that a few more things have been found in this photo. I believe that in the interest of science that I would go back and take some more photos. I would try to duplicate the shots taken and try to take them at approx. The same time in the evening and see what develops. If the same things appear then it's a good chance you caught a freak shadow formation-if not then what you caught could be paranormal.
I would also go at night and take a few, even if I had to shoot over the fence. The fence doesn't look that high and maybe you could catch something else. Take Care.

Jamie. I see what you mean by the shelter. What kind of shelter, if that IS what it IS, I am not sure of, but I WILL definitely be going back to Oaklawn Cemetary, and I will find out. However, as for the man standing under this 'shelter'... Could be? But why does it look like he is practically IN the cemetary, right at the edge? I mean all we see is his upper body and head w/hat. YES, there is a wall but, take a look at the tree to his left. That tree is IN the cemetary and he is practically connected with it he is so close.

Hi Jennifer. Yea, I was shocked at what I caught that day, and how much I caught just on one picture. Especially when it was my VERY first time taking pictures in a cemetary TRYING to capture ghostly apparitions on film or anything paranormal. Thanks for commenting.

Hi luke8. I know, you guys are helping find things that I never saw or just ignored because I figured there was not enough to back it up. Did you see that robed looking, almost full-bodied apparition in a sitting position to the right of the picture. 'IT' is in a seated position right outside of the gather of headstones that is fenced in by the wrought iron gate? I sent Martin(webmaster of YGS) another of the same picture except outlined a few other things that might have been overlooked. I asked him to post it on this submission so it could help others better in seeing what we are talking about. I can't even believe that I missed this 'being' in this seated position in a robe type attire with a white collar. Check out what I said to Tammy(rhodes) about it. Maybe you can see it or you'll have to wait until Martin posts the outlined picture. I think I caught A LOT on this picture. LUCKY?! That's what I think!
Thanks for reading, looking and commenting.

OMG Tammy! I DO SEE IT! How in the world could I have overlooked this! If it is the same transparent figure that you are speaking of, it is down right SPOOKY AS HELL! For those of you reading, TAKE A LOOK AT THIS ONE! All the way to the right of the picture there is a set of headtones. Focus on the headstones with the wrought iron gates around them. Look directly behind them. There is a nearly FULL-BODIED apparition in a seated position. The head part of it looks blurred and gray in color but looks like it is wearing a hood of some kind, a little pointed. At the neck it looks like a white ring with the rest being of either DARK gray or black with an overcoat type clothing around where the arms would be is of a lighter gray color. I had goose bumps ALL over when rhodes pointed this out to me! You know this is downtown Tampa, cemetary being on the outskirts, and there is an old beautiful Catholic Cathedral Church called "Sacred Heart" not too far from this cemetary. I wonder if this 'being' has to do with a Pastor or minister being buried there. This church has been around a long time and the cemetary a longer time, I think. I am going to circle the rest of what we have seen on this picture so far and email Martin too re-submit it so other YGS members can see what we see.
Anyone else that can find something we have overlooked please let me know!
Thanks everyone!

Oups, I must have skipped one of your comments. Sorry, you have already answered about the greyish outline before the headstone.
I think you're absolutely right not wanting to post the other photos Mustang, I'm totally with you on this one.
Take care and thanks for a great account.
I'll be looking forward to the next one.

Hi CHelleck. No I didn't because they were my fifteen year old daughter, almost five year old boy and three year old little girl! I have taken photos of my fifteen year old(not for paranormal reasons, but there are always orbs all around her but no one else in the picture. I'm still trying to find these particular pictures but haven't yet. I'm still looking! I didn't want to put my children's faces on the internet if you know what I mean. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Oh yea Jamie. The other pictures that were taken were two 'live oaks', both in different sections of the cemetary that had a strange whitish mist around them with little orbs here and there. The other pictures had small orbs, some didn't really show much of anything but most did. Odd that I caught so much in this cemetary but the one I went to the next day which had been around SO long that some of the graves only have a make-shift wooden cross and a piece of cement with the name and date written in black permanent marker, but I didn't feel anything there. It was like it was abondoned and the graves were in no order at all. I didn't even catch ONE orb on my camera AT ALL. I really don't think they are worth much but maybe you guys can see something I haven't.

Hi Jamie. Yes you may call be by my REAL name "SHELBY". My nickname is Mustang that is why I use it for my user ID. I've had that nickname since seventh grade because my friend Mike's parents had an awesome "Shelby Cobra Mustang" (it is a sports car in case you weren't aware of that). I have a question. Are you a woman or a man? Just curious! You have a unisex name like me but if you've read my profile you would know that I am a Mother of four!

Thanks for replying Shelby. Please take a close look at the almost transparent figure standing in front of a head stone two trees before the face. I was really spooked by that one. I enlarged the picture to study it closer and the more I look at it, the more transparent it seems.
You must post the rest of the photos Shelby.

Hi Tammy. You know Tammy, I had seen that face on that tree before but blew it off because they say that humans are programmed to see faces, which I saw many off that day and also many other orbs on other pictures that day, I just submitted the best ones. I DO see that face! It looks like an old skinny man or woman looking to the right with a half smile or smurk. You can definitely see this face in the tree and no there is not a statue there where I took the pictures. Not of anything human shaped anyway whether the could have been paranormal or not. That face is really kind of spooky looking! Like I said before, I noticed LOTS of different things but just disregarded, debunked or ignored them because I just didn't see enough evidence to back anything up on them. They could have been explained away. Spirits DO show up with faces in objects though! Who's to say whether or not this face in the tree is a real spirit face or not but it looks real to me!

Alright, Shelby. I took a sample of coloured pixels from each figure and the results are... Inconclusive.
While both figures are made up of similar coloured pixels (purples, greens, BROWNS) I can't prove anything beyond the interpretation of your camera.
On a side note, both figures look very 'ghosty' when zoomed in this far.

Hi again Shelby. White Buffalo I do see the light. You guys here realy have good eye sight π.I realy think there is a ghst walking behind that guy in the trees. I don't think it could have been a shadow because it would be falling towards the ground. By the way you can tell that the weather was poor and not a lot of sunshine. And if you want to see a big dark shadow like in shelbys picture you need a lot of light. So in my opinion shelbys picture definetly has a ghot there. But I may be wrong. I hope to hear from you soon and take care

Shelby, please feel free to use my real name, if you'll do me the pleasure of using yours (is that your real name or just a nik?).
When I zoom right in close to your shadow man, I can see that the lower part of his jacket is the same colour (roughly) as that of the man to his left. I can prove it to in 'Microsoft Digital Image Pro'. I'll post the results when I'm done.
You're right, I don't know you or your claimed observationalist talents. So I can't really rely on them. I will make a point of reading your other stories. If I change my mind about this one, I'll let you know.

Ok, I mean the second tree to the right of the figure standing in front of the headstone.
By the way, apart from the dark figure outside the cemetery are you saying the figure I see in front of the headstone isn't a statue of any kind?

Cool,I like the picture. That 'ghostman' or gray man is not a ghost but a flash back.(meaning the action that happened there replayed like watching your favourite part of a movie, it happens a lot in london) I don't live in london,ok.I live in Brunei Darussalam(look up in an atlas if you don't know)

Ok, Ok, forget the two men for a minute.
All the way on the right of the photograph, in an "elbow" of one of the trees is a light. You can see that on the OTHER side of the tree there is a stop sign sort of sticking out. Directly opposite of that is the light.
Again, I do not have that photo shop that some others have, but that light appears to look a bit more "drawn out" than the other light coming through the rest of the trees. Also, it is a bit more misty. It MAY be due to the rain, but it is quite interesting to me.
I need to get that photo shop.
Geez, I just read Rhodes comment. Maybe she sees it too?
Thank you.

Two of my fav posters! Thanks for commenting!
Hello Tammy, anything bew at the old "Anima"? π πIf you are talking about the man with an outline of the dark gray color standing by a haeadstone, yes you are seeing him. As for a face or something up on the trees? I don't really see anything but I will blow it up and zoom in to look again. Try and tell me which tree or I will just study them all. Talk to you soon!
Jamie, hope you do not mind me using your 'real' name. I am a pretty observant person, always watching my surrounds. I just don't go around snapping pictures randomly. And also, I am cautious as to what and who is around me out of the safety factor and it also could be all of the stories I hear from my police officer of a husband. Then again, I am not perfect and maybe it did slip my sight. HOWEVER, since I DID see the man on the left bent over getting into his car on the outside of the cemetary, then how on Earth could I have missed a man, if it was 'a man' and not 'a being' standing at a bus stop a few feet away? Besides, there is not even a bus stop around that cemetary. And, how do you see brown colored clothing? This figure looks to be very dark gray to me and a couple of other people that I sent my pictures to before posting these pictures on this site. Again, where do you get the brown colored clothing from? You absolutely have a right to your opinion and possible 'expertise' but I know what I felt there and I know what I did and did not see. And if you knew me better you would know that I do not ALWAYS claim things to be paranormal by any means. Have you even read any of my stories?
Thanks again for you input! π

Again, I'm sorry, but to me, there is absolutely nothing remotely supernatural about your picture.
Your 'shadow man' would be more acurately named 'man in the shadow of a bus stop'.
Having zoomed in, I can clearly (more like hazzily) see that he is neither see-through, nor without colour. His jacket is dark brown.
"Then if you look a few feet to the right, you can see another man that was ABSOLUTELY NOT THERE when I took this picture!"
It is clear from your picture that the focus of your shot was not the bus stop. Therefore how on Earth could you possibly claim that there was no one there when you took the photo? My explanation - YOU DID NOT SEE HIM! He's far away in the shadows so he's not hard to miss.
I appologise if I come across as being harsh but there is quite simply nothing out of the ordinary about your photos. The 'strange' events that happened on the day are really just regular events that you decided to associate with the supernatural.
