Hi! Thanks for your comments. I think ghost's or spirits, just like people, also feel lonely and since we cannot see them, it is harder for them to get attention. I believe they copy other people's voices or appearances to be able to connect with another person, even just for a while. Of course, this is just my own speculation.

I have lately become interested about these experiences with the Doppelgangers and the main reason is, first, it must be an extremely unsettling experience to interact with someone's "copy" while knowing or, at least, suspecting it's not the actual person, let alone coming face to face with your very own "twin"! I'm stil though trying to figure out why some energy would take up another person's form since it can obviously manifest into anything or anyone it chooses. Unless of course it's because "it" knows that by acquiring the form of a family member, it would be more easily accepted or because it it would more easily trick the other family. But then another question arises: why most of these interactions do not go beyond seeing or hearing a double instead of serving the purpose intended?

Do you have an idea, does doppelgangers have preferences on who they will imitate? I was one of their favorites and it scared me once though I've never seen one. On one gimik night, as my friends pass by our boarding house they would claim they saw me waving at them in the middle of the night standing alone in our boarding house sala. While in fact I was sound asleep being an early bird that I am. The second incident was when I moved in a dormitory and had a room at the topmost level of our dorm. Since the tv room was in the first floor, me and my buddy always end up sleeping late at night and I have to go to my room around 11 to 12 o'clock midnight. I have to pass the lobby before I can go to my room and often there were fellow dormers who loved to stay in the lobby even after midnight. There was this one night when two of my friends stopped me as I was passing the lobby. They asked, "Di ba dumaan ka na kanina? Saan ka na naman nanggaling ngayon?" I told them I was at the TV room all the time and never left for my room since and just this time. They were freaked because not thirty minutes ago, they saw me pass by and even started a conversation but there was not a response from me, just a point blank stare and blank face like as if they were unnoticed. I confirmed that was not me and as I went to my room that night, I felt like I was being watched.
