Hello, dear FRAWIN... 😆...I know but it's a direct translation from Greek.
Thank you for your supporting words as usual. I still take care of the cats but I do very little compared to some women in the neighborhood who spend their whole pension taking care of them. I visit once a day but for two reasons:one, to feed the cats and second, to see if I can "catch" his calling again. I sure think of him a lot though.

That was my first thought, too, Frawin! As a cat person, I truly enjoyed this story. I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend, and how you found him... That must have been heart-wrenching. How kind of you to continue to care for his kitties after that. Was that the only experience that you had with hearing him? I'm not surprised that the cats reacted... They are all such sensitive creatures.

Hello Tammy. When I first saw the title of your story my mind wandered to something else because in my neck of the woods a "Cat House" means something else entirely<grin>. I really enjoyed your story, as usual it echoed the loving type of person you must surely be. Is Yiannis' cats still being taken care of? Thank you for sharing your story with us, it was truly enjoyable. Take care my friend.

Cats are indeed very intuitive creatures but, choosing the "porch" as opposed to my meal was very unexpected and at the same time assuring that what I heard was not in my head-that it echoed within the walls of that garden. Thank you again.
