My cat often goes into a trance.
It can happen at any time of the day.
She just curls up into a ball, closes her eyes, and stays like that for up to twenty minutes without moving.

I don't think a vet can help, but I was considering calling the vicar over, maybe he can help.

My cat was absolutely normal - an affectionate pet and a ferocious mouser - until my grandmother died about 5 months ago. She was a psychic healer and visionary - quite well-known for it locally and with clients from several counties. On her deathbed she promised to send us a sign from the Other Side.

Anyway since Grandma Sprotsworth passed over, my cat has started seeing auras, displays psychokinetic powers and can even teleport over short distances.

Robynhoodwinker.

Are you positive that no cat was hiding in the room at the time? They are notorious at hiding under the couch and getting stuck. They meow sometimes then.

I found a small gazelle under our couch once. Must have been there for ages.

Yours ever-so-informed

I believe cats can see other things also or sense them... We live in an old house where past people have passed on as well as small animals trapped in the crawl space under the house accessed by our basement. It had been vacant for years when we moved in with our first cat, Max, who also was killed here by wild dogs on our porch. Our next cat, Maxine, sometimes stares up on our wall, but it doesn't seem to bother her... So it doesn't bother me. I sometimes hear cats meowing when there are no cats around in certain areas of the living room... Lol I know Kirby I can here you now...lol

Several years ago an old moggy turned up from nowhere and decided to move in with my husband and I. We fitted a cat-flap in the door so he could come and go at will and he seemed to enjoy his new home.

We placed ads in the local papers, at the local animal rescue centres and on various lamp posts in the area stating that we had found the cat but no one came to claim him.

The poor thing only had one eye and the paw on his right rear leg was missing. The vet said that he was developing cataracts and had been suffering with the mange for some time. Half of his tail was also missing and he had been spade at some time. We called him lucky.

Anyway, every night the cat would come into our bedroom and stare intently at something under the bed. I never thought anything of it as cats often seem to stare at things we can't see. He never went under the bed but would crouch down next to it and make a sort of growling sound. This went on every night until I decided to pull the bed out to show the cat that there was nothing there. How wrong I was!

There was a small handkerchief lying under the bed and this had two very small holes in it. It was obvious that we had found a dead baby ghost because, once we'd removede it the cat never bothered to look under the bed after that.

Sadly the cat is no longer with us. It died two years ago.

Yes, well, it is likely your cat sees spirits. All animals can. But, what will happen when your cat... Passes away?
