I think he was astral-projecting. Though it is hard (they say) to do it when you want to, it does happen spontaneously. It has happened to me, though not in exactly the same way as it was for your dad. It is strange and unusual that he could touch the "other" person - I don't think that is typical in projecting. In one of the cases when it happened to me, I felt that someone was lying on my back (I was lying on my stomach). I was scared nearly to death... I thought it was an intruder/rapist. I couldn't move (this is typical of such cases) and when I finally could, my hand went through my own head! Then I "woke up". Later I read about this kind of thing happening to other people and it was their own astral body that was the "other person". So I can tell you both from personal experience and from my reading that it can feel like someone else is lying on your back.

I think that is a sign of how you are going to die. Because it kept on happening over and over.

That makes a lot of sense... One of my theories was the he was astral projecting, but I didn't think much of it, cause it usually takes years to master astral projection. That helps a lot though. Thanks!

it happened to me once I remember, that it was just sunrise I woke up from bed and when I took off my blanket I put my feet on the floor suddenly I woke up again on bed and I said what is going on, then found myself dreaming the same dream over and over like 4 times in that morning I told this story to my sister and she said that it rarely happens that your soul leaves your body when you are dreaming your soul leaves and when is time to wake up it can't come back in to your body that's why your are able to see things you wake up normaly you feel normaly but your spirit is not connected with your body. And when you said that you felt a huge weight over you that was that your soul was trying to leave your body you tried to release that weight it was your dad that fell down on the floor his soul came out from your dad's body that is why he was able to see himself.

How scary! It must've been a dream... But it must've been scary for him.

Of course, It must have been just a dream. >.> Or a normal, Near death experience. D:

I don't know, But maybe the ghost was giving him messages... Weird, WEIRD, Messages. O_O
