excorsism is allways his answer, literally he has suggested it to me more than 5 times. Not to put you down zoajet not at all your a great guy, I'm just saying is all 🤔

I don't doubt this was terrifying to you as a child. It could have been your imagination. (just a suggestion... No offense). Little kids can really let their imagination get the best of them.

This "bang"...did it sound like someone physically banging on the door? Or like something falling? Could it have come from another room? Perhaps a room next to you where your brother resided? The door opening and shutting... Was it hinged properly? Was your house older? I only ask because I have a closet door that doesn't shut right due to not being hung properly/the age of the house.
Did anything "paranormal" happen in the house?

I don't think you're crazy... I think you were just a little kid. Although, I understand the fear of closets. Some closets or rooms can give one a bad vibe.

Zoajet: I don't think the OP lives there (am I correct minx?) Therefore, I don't think an <I>exorcism</I> is in order.

this remines me of anther story. Do not go in the closet with the door shut. This may be somthing evil. Do an ecorcism.

If the only activity was in the closet then could just b an earth bound spirit, possibly a residual haunting. Was there any other activity besides the closet? Did you see any sort of manifestations? Any signs to suggest it was a demon such as: growls, dark shadows, aversion to religious objects, objects flying across the room, any marks on your person, fowl odors or smell of sulfur, Do you still hear or see anything? I also read your other story and my concern is when you stated you felt you left your body (astral projection). Don't let evil fool you, it doesn't always come scary it may seemingly come baring an olive branch, it may do things to keep you interested in it. The longer you allow its presence in your life the harder it will be to get rid of. If it wore me I would keep up in my prayers ask for forgiveness and help and go to church.
