Hi Jerry--I am sure dreamer will respond to you but a "Bex" is a pain killer the word "lye", I think, was just a misspelling of "lie". So she was saying she wants to take a painkiller and lie down.
I believe the reference to younger people not understanding what a Bex is, is either because they are no longer referred to by that or are no longer manufactured. That comment wasn't referring to your age personally. I might be wrong but I think this correct.

Caz -- sorry to hear about your computer problems, I've been there more that a few times myself. Sweetie, huh, that's nice of you to say. Never considered myself a sweetie, but I'll take it, thank you. Glad you enjoyed a tid-bit of humor from George Carlin. A comedic genius, a true wordsmith. Sad he moved on...

Aussiedaz -- yes I am familiar with the Disclosure Project, listened to all the speakers, found everyone fascinating. That Dr. Greer, MD, a country Doctor as he oftentimes calls himself, seems an odd ball, just something about his personality and his claim to have associates at ALL levels, he may have and he may be as true as the day is long, so maybe odd ball isn't fair as I keep returning to the video presentations he has available on YouTube. Very interesting and I will admit that I sometimes use them to help me get off to sleep at night. It works.
Wish_Not -- must be something VERY special you have to say, yes please do find time to write about it. Got my curiosity saying what you did.

Morning dreamer01 -- checking in I see you made a comment that I am confused about // it am no youngster (still at heart, maybe, but not age) and I have no idea what a "bex" is nor do I understand your reference to lye down. The only lye I am aware of is a chemical. Obviously Tweed understood, but even that doesn't help me out here, please elaborate if you will. Thanks.

Thanks for getting back to me on the appearance aspect Jerry. I figured if you had a clearer recollection you'd have included it in your story.😊 Oddly enough your description of what you remember matches what I'd formed in my mind. Nondescript lizard type beings with snout and round human like skull.
Lol Dreamer, I feel like that a lot on YGS.😆

well, after reading all those comments I think I need a "bex" and a lye down. Ha ha, you young ones have no idea what that is do you?
Makes me wonder now about who is snooping around in cyber space, watching each key stroke I make and why. Maybe I would be a candidate for genetic readjustment of some sort.
Are there any extraterras on ygs, do we have some guests from another dimension? Just more and more questions to ponder, possibly answer, debate or just plain old drive myself insane. Yes, I think I will take the bex option while I can still remotely remember my name. 😭 😭 😊

Jerry- just something that happened in the 90's. There is an actual logic explanation, BUT very, very, very, (did I mention very?) Unlikely. I'll work on getting it written up. No aliens, lizards just something VERY odd. Out in the middle of nowhere. Was one of the first times that I had, had to admit that there is not an answer. Wasn't good at that as a young man.

JerryB Have you checked out the link on the Citizen's hearing on disclosure?...500 witnesses in front of 6 congress members in the press gallery at Washington all under oath, overwhelming evidence of accounts just like yours and more... Interestingly it wasn't covered by the general media? But the most solid documentary on the net by far... All six congress members all concluded on the evidence that extra terrestrials are among us, interesting stuff and yes mate, the internet will help the world along in understanding our reality... In short, the truth is stranger than fiction, A Hollywood blockbuster playing out for real!

Aussiedaz -- let me start by saying how amazed I am that here I sit in Texas, USA, and know that someone who is so far distant such as yourself (in Australia -- Wow!) has access to my simple little story. Distance and time in to-day's world have little meaning thanks to websites such as YGS. Just boggles my mind. And I've heard from others also in lands far distant, just absolutely hard for me to get my mind around.
What you said about DNA and alien involvement in our early beginnings, I too have come across such teachings. I believe it to be fact. It seems to go hand-in-hand with certain happenings and unexplainable structures that exist in our world for all to see and yet otherwise defies any good scientific explanation. Of course there is always someone who steps from the shadows and tries to debunk such possibilities but I personally find my mind little changed when they try to put their own spin on such things. Too much of the obvious exist regardless of what is said to try and discredit such teachings. I stumbled across an excellent series (made for tv) that explains much in this regard -- Ancient Aliens; which I have a feeling you might have also encountered. Some if it might be stretching the truth a bit but then again some of it, most of it, makes damn good sense. And thanks to the Internet, and book, all kinds of related materials are available that speaks to the same. Makes sense (for me it does) out of some things that otherwise make no sense, and yet there it is, in plain sight for all to see and touch. Thanks for reading my simple little story, and for commenting...

Good morning Tweed -- at least it is morning time here. Very good question. I will say that I've tried to recall more about their appearance but it's just not coming back to me. Funny how my mind works, I can tell you the color of their uniforms, and a few odds and ends, but their exact (anything) seems fuzzed-out. I really don't know a whole lot about reptiles, hell I don't know really anything about reptiles other than to tell you I leave them alone when I see one, snakes and turtles and lizards and such. Some turtles are okay. I do understand your question, you're trying to get a comparison as to which these humanoid versions more closely resembled... And I just don't know what to say in that regard. I would love to be accurate in that but I just don't remember. So what damn good am I, right. I'm sorry. Let me think.
I never saw any reptile walk on two legs, although some lizards I believe can raise up and run a distance on their back legs. These two guys were much bigger than anything reptilian imaginable, and they moved about freely on two legs, standing upright as do humans. I call them reptile because their facial appearance seemed lizard-snake like to me, but it was also dark-colored, a shade of brown as was the clothing material they wore. There was no flicking tongues I associate with snakes. If they had scales as do reptiles, I don't recall it, they were pretty much covered by that clothing. They possssed two eyes, a nose, even a large mouth (not alligator or crocodile large, a long snout protruding with all those sharp pointed teeth, but yes thin and wide) although they communicated with us by means of some sort of mental telepathy. I might have heard their actual speech on occasion, I'm not sure now. Their head was round, much like ours; but no hair that I saw anywhere. They were big, bulky, tall. Can I say ugly? Yes to that too.
Well, Tweed, I don't know much to say beyond that, they just seemed reptilian, whatever reptilian actually truly is. I know we have a variety of such creatures among us but there are differences that make each unique unto itself, unlike in appearance, and yet we put them all in a neat little package and call them all "reptilian". They certainly didn't look like any mammal in that regard although there was some of that too. Two arms, two legs, and things I've already said. Maybe, just maybe, the closest thing might be -- nope, sorry, can't say.

I have put a lot of research in on this phenomenon Jerry and it is real I have no doubt, thank you for coming forward, I think one day we'll know more about who they are and why they are here, there is some speculation that about 150000 years ago they mixed there own DNA with the apes to give rise to the human race in some type of galactic experiment and have been monitoring us ever since and if that alone were true, you can imagine what that would do to all the faiths and religions cultured into our society, there would be mass confusion and fear let alone anything else,... They reckon that there are about 60 different alien races of which most are actually humans who have lived in our universe for millions maybe billions of years. The reptilians are supposed to be the more rougher breed of the bunch but apparently some of them do care enough to want us to advance to a category two civilization where we don't need our vocals and talk with our minds etc. There spaceships are basically designed or tuned into their own consciousness which is quite fascinating... Just as we are breaking through into the quantum realm and doing experiments with intangible particles and scratching our heads trying to understand how two particles can act the same light years away, these ancient aliens have fully mastered the concepts of consciousness, quantum mechanics and put it into their own travel systems, they can basically fly in and out of planets anywhere in the universe as quick as clicking a finger, or at the rate of intangible particles which defy the speed of light... Anyway, great to read your story I encourage others to come forward.

Jerry- Been enjoying your stories since you joined the group. Glad Miracles put this one through. To me,... Well there are so many unanswered questions. One has to except that. Unfortunately we are not "all knowing". I have read different stories that follows yours. There has to be something at the base that gives validation. Too many different occasions, different parts of the world not too.
That being said, it gives me the confidence to write about a very strange moment that still leaves me scratching my head. There maybe some type of logical explanation...however, no one has come up with one yet. I'll work on getting it written up. Coming soon.
Really enjoy your experiences and writing style. Leaves me waiting for the next one.

Caz -- so sad. We can certainly get attached to animals, I do. I've given up eating chicken, for example, ever since we put a chicken coop out back. Surprisingly they are pretty intelligent creatures, and great hunters. Messy but isn't every animal that.
I had to look up the meaning of Alabama rot, had never heard of that. Too bad about your daughters Lab, really sad.
Let me see if I can send a chuckle in your direction, I think we both can use one:
"Here's all you need to know about men and women -- Women are crazy... Men are stupid. And the main reason women are crazy is that men are stupid."
-- George Carlin

Sorry Jerry, but I'm all out of chuckles right now! My daughter's beautiful black Lab Lulu, was put to sleep on Thursday evening. 18 months ago, she was in hospital for over 3 weeks, suffering from Alabama Rot! She came 'this close' to dying, but fought her way back, only to be diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of this year. The tumour was under her shoulder blade and was entangled with all the nerves, which meant to save her, she had to lose the leg! She fought her way past that and coped magnificently on 3, but just a few weeks ago, she developed two more problems, one of which meant she couldn't keep her food down and shortly after, a problem with her larynx meant she couldn't swallow at all! The vets diagnosis said something in her brain was causing her body to shut down! And no more could be done! She spent her last two days in hospital on oxygen and my daughter was told that this time, she was fighting a battle she couldn't possibly win! We looked after her at ours on an 'all day' basis for nigh on 3 years and I loved her like my own! She was only 7!

Hello once again, Caz --
More on that invisibility possibility:
Why not, that would certainly be a form of hi-tech camouflage, something our own military folks would love to get their hands on, I bet'cha. If they don't already that is. And on that same subject, i.e., camouflage, it doesn't seem to far a step to wonder if UFO's don't often just stand there in the sky watching us while otherwise VISIBLE but 'disquised' as clouds. I've seen many lenticular shaped clouds that mimic what we have come to call UFO saucer shape. Hey, if they are what many of us believe they are -- anything might be possible.
As to Boarder Collies: Have three (all full breeds) at this house, one of my daughters has two more. All the dogs are related, except Riley, he's the daddy of the bunch. Well I guess that makes him related too doesn't it. Smart for sure, except gotta watch out for Luna, she's aptly named, smart but a lunatic, barks and snaps at every damn thing. Which always sets the others to barking; a real nut house around here when it happens.
Thanks, Caz, for the nice words about my step dad. Not necessary for you (or anyone to do that however) but do appreciate you all saying what you did.
My step father had some serious issues (obviously) and wasn't the easiest or nicest person to try and get along with. One of the reasons I ran off and joined the military when I did. Still to end one's life (suicide in whatever form) has got to be wrong. It is wrong. However, me saying that, my real father passed away a few years ago, and terminally ill as he was -- suicide as such never happened -- He did ask me to end his misery, remembering what he said to me one time, but I figured that to be nothing more that the damn medication he was taking for pain. I could never do anything like he asked, never. Just saying. And thanks, Caz, but you need to pass more chuckles my way, okay. Ha.

Yes Jerry, that could well be! They call it 'cloaking'! Some can be picked up on infra red and some can be seen through a camera lens, even though they can't be seen by the naked eye! I did read about one pilot who felt a UFO go past close to his wing and though he couldn't see it, he saw it's shadow on the ground! Love Border Collies... The smartest breed of dogs. I have one myself, though he's 25% German Shepherd! He's only 1 year old and going through the 'hooligan' phase! He hasn't picked up on any UFOs yet... Just pigeons, but he sure let's us know when our 'ghostly visitor' comes to call! Lol Hey... I see in one of your comments you could indeed have missing time when you met ET! Interesting! Oh... I meant to say sorry about your step dad! I lost a dear friend I grew up with the same way... Only she died of an overdose! She was only 26! Such a waste! 😢

Hi Caz -- was hoping to hear from you again. Invisible? Ha. Sure why not. Here check this out, maybe it fits your hypothesis:
One day at my former residence in Maryland, I found myself standing on a woode hill that sat directly behind our house, I was high enough to be near eye level with the roof. Suddenly there was this unexplained sensation of something (?) fast flying by at tree top level, and when I say fast I mean super unbelievably fast. No sound just the feeling of something moving in a direct line over head and gone. Snap your fingers gone. Didn't see a thing. Didn't hear a thing, just a sensation. Suddenly, Riley, that's my Boarder Colllie, who was lying down by the house's back door jumped up and began barking wildly and looking up towards the roof as he circled the house three or four times. Invisible you say? Yeah, maybe so.

Hi Manafon1 -- you know you have an interesting point. Hell it could have been piloted like a drone, keeping it small size would certainly keep it less obvious for someone to notice wouldn't it. This is going to sound crazy to some out there but what if such technology exist in different formats and ships might be shrunk to the size of let's say a bumble bee or a common house fly; who would notice such thing flying around, buzzing around? Damn they could be everywhere. I'm being serious, not making jest of what you say at all. Thanks.

Valkricry -- yes I believe you are correct. Someone (Spockie) questioned that about my story earlier. I couldn't share their reasoning, not exactly, as to why the aliens decided to stop us when they did when they could just as easily have let us go. Seeing the object damaged as it was, you'd think that would be the case. But let us go they did, eventually. Probably detained us for no more than curiosity same, like they said. Like I believe I heard the kinder one say, let me say it that way, that is if my memory hasn't played a trick on me here. Maybe they thought this jerky kid (me) who had shown up two days in a row and was now bringing company along would just keep coming back if they didn't do something like make us 'forget' which they certainly did for nearly 50 damn years... And about that (forget) I'm not sure what all I've forgotten, there does seem to be some time not fully accounted for. I recall the short exchanges I outlined for the story but at the same time I'm not sure how long we stood frozen like that, Could have been (?) an hour or longer. Just feels as if we spent some time there, and also this feeling that the one I said was angry gave my step dad a harder time because he was older, if that makes any sense. Why it would I'm not sure.

Always a pleasure. Yes I checked out that link you provided, really very interesting, all those UFOs in old paintings. Amazing isn't a good enough word. I have come across writings indicating multiple alien races; appRently the reptilian so I saw fall into that list somewhere. Believe the late author Zachariah Sitchen had something important to add in this regard when he explained how accepted bible stories (making reference to gods with a small 'g), and Sumeria (present day Iraq), and how it as that an alien race known as the annunaki played a super important role in mankind's existence. Just interesting stuff, for me it is.

Well so far no negative comments. I suspect there have been some, just haven't been put into print here yet. No biggie if that happens as moderator, MIRACLES51031 is out there somewhere monitoring, and besides gave the blessing on this particular alien post. I guess some might twist this encounter of mine into two demons (they certainly looked demonic) but demons in a space ship, that would be pushing the definition don't you think. Thank you for your kind words.
PS -- I like your use of earth angel, calling yourself that. As you can see by my own (JerryB) not much imagination coming from me.

Yes like your Dad, I too believe there has to be far greater intelligent life out there somewhere. Just the idea that some can come here and seem to do so easily speaks for that. I would venture we are far down the scale when it comes to making any comparison. Take a ride on the New York City subway (I was stationed in NYC for a few years) and you'll see what I mean. I don't mean any disrespect saying that, just memory of this guy I saw once holding onto one of the straps, swaying back and forth as we went, looking very much kin to the monkey family. Maybe that's where the saying monkey's uncle comes from! Maybe they saw this guy too. And then there was this one time (also on the subway) that the train made an underground stop and this one guy got on wearing a bed sheet and holding an empty tomato soup can saying something about the rice famine in India, or someplace just as odd. The train made its next stop and he got off, thank goodness. Again no disrespect intended to anyone from NYC. Not sure where all that just came from, sorry. Smile please.

Sounds like you grew up in a place similar to my spouse, she is from Philadelphia and has told me of her crowded street always having block parties, not something I can easily relate to coming from the little southern Illinois town that I once called my home. No block parties there. That UFO you saw in the air, amazing. Wish you had a photo, and for that matter wish I did in my case also. Pictures used to be so complicated, film and developing, and waiting for delivery, unlike easy camera shots today. Thanks for your comments Otteer.

Hi Jerry--It just struck me as intriguing that the diminutive size of the craft you saw seemed so similar to the small hovering craft my friend saw years ago. Maybe the craft can be transported from one location to another telepathically, or like a modern drone, sans any occupants.
Anything would be mere speculation!

Manafon1 -- a small craft like the one I saw, maybe. I got the understanding that the small size was not possible if they were inside, only came in handy when it was parked and concealed. I may have that wrong, however. The fact that it was in Illinois also, yes that caught my interest. No idea why Illinois would be important, but who knows. I associated my location with that ammo factory, that maybe they had come to investigate what all the noise was about, not that it was a constant but in my little town it was quite common to hear the sound of machine gun fire coming from the direction of that factory. I'd always heard they made ammunition primarily for the military, the sounds of periodic but rapid gun burst coming across the valley certainly indicated that to be true. What you said about your Dad, horrible for sure.

Jerry,
I found this account to be interesting. I do wonder something, I know there is no answer for; if there was something more to it then what you remember.
To me it's only logical that any 'race' for lack of a better term, either of our plant or extraterrestrial will have different personalities among them - some more tolerant of others who are 'different' then others, and hence friendlier. Maybe they just thought they had better do something before you started bringing more than just your Step-dad around.

Jerry, I'm so sorry to hear about your step father's passing. I hope you don't think this encounter was somehow connected to his decision to end his life. These entities, whatever they were, seemed non violent and non threatening, even the one who appeared to exert authority. It struck me as wisdom actually. Like the more menacing entity's attitude was like 'now, what do you guys need a ridiculous thing like a gun for, eh?'
My Mum is obsessed with Alien encounters after having an experience with her family many years ago, then another years later. I used to find all the Alien talk very boring "Ohh not again with the bloody Aliens" I would say. 😆 That's not to say I don't believe they exist, I do, but for some reason 'alien talk' usually bores me lol.
Jeeesh, you know a few years ago I was watching a Brian Cox doco with Mum. As awesome as Cox is he made a blunder declaring 'no such thing' in regards to, well, encounters of the what the hell kind. My Mum, usually meek and mild, flew into a torrent of bad language and still to this day is unforgiving of good old Cox.
I guess the moral here is unless you've experienced something it's hard to comprehend.
*ahem* I'd like to just say
HOLY CRAP! This is going to me faves! 😆

JerryB,
So sorry what happened with your stepfather-yes, provided you are not implanted they can block memories, a scary thought!
Thank you for your account which reveals one of something like 150 races of beings thought to be visiting or that live on our planet (at least that is what has been shared online in numerous places)
Here's an article with a bunch of links at the end of it for any interested in alternative history and origins:

Jerry, thank you for another beautifully written account of your personal experiences. Always a delight to read!
Growing up in northern British Columbia, I have seen a number of inexplicable lights over the area where we lived. My Dad used to say that there is no way we are the most intelligent life forms in the universe.
Thanks again for another fascinating read!

Great story Jerry, and terrifying. I believe in UFO, s and that they (or the contents at least) do have a place in the forum only in that that they are 3 dimensional beings and have an uncanny ability to project themselves or shape shift to what ever it is they want to be presented as, thus, spirits, ghosts, demons, who knows what is actually being projected and by whom at the time of materializing?
I have heard of the reptilians and, also agree that there are many races and sounds like you ran into a benign or, at least patient one. In answer to Spockie, see one human sniffing around, let it ride, when it brings another, time to discouraging it from doing it again lol.
When I was around 8 years old, 1963 or so, my block was out playing together (was blessed to grow up in a suburban neighborhood were every house on the block had kids, 16 or so households), our block was square and was outlined with a wide sidewalk. It consisted of a strip of homes on 2 sides of the block, the back yards were back to back. We were playing flashlight games in the approaching dark on the sidewalk area, and knowing it was near dinner time, were preparing to listen for the calling (our parents used to call us home, how americana is that). I don't know why we didn't see it approach, but there in the middle of our block, over the backyard area was a huge disk, with circling colored lights. It was silent, and so were we. We scattered and ran home and everyone told their parents about it, but not one parent had seen it because, we all ate dinner about the same time, and everyone was preparing it and getting ready to put it on the table. The craft was high enough that only people on other blocks 3 over would have seen it from their windows if they happen to look out. We only hung out with our block people. Anywho, my father worked for Boeing so we were treated to a ride in the Goodyear blimp because of his connections, so I knew it was not a blimp. Strange, no one hung around to see where it went although it had started a slow drift off towards the north when we bolted. Wasnt on the news and there was no talk of it at school. So, 50 some odd years later I'm thinking we were the only ones seeing it!
Thanks for sharing Jerry, brought back this memory for me!

Hi Jerry--Another very interesting account. It seems to be a common thread in many similar types of encounter that there is a partial (I imagine sometimes complete) loss of memory concerning the event. The reptilian appearance of the two figures reminds me of the theories of David Icke. He has postulated (some would say insanely) that there are inner earth reptilians who have interbred with humanity to gain political power on "the surface."
He believes this reptilian bloodline had coursed through 43 American presidents, pharaohs, the Queen of England and so on. There are many who believe these reptilians (the pure unbred variety) live just below the surface of the Earth and do make forays to the surface now and then. Who knows, maybe you encountered two of these inner earth dwelling dudes.
Sorry to hear your stepdad ended his life. My dad ended his life the same way. I found him and it's an image that is permanently burned into my mind.
I have a friend who saw a craft very similar to what you describe hovering by electrical wires when he was 10 (he is now in his early fifties). The small size of the craft you saw and the one my friend saw are strikingly similar. He saw also saw his craft in Illinois. Northern Ilinois.

You did it Jerry and I'm really glad I got to read it... Thanks to Miracles finding the 'exact' category for it! 😁 Wow two Reptilians eh? After your Vietnam experience, I'm beginning to think you must have 9 lives, but don't go pushing your luck now laddie! 😉 Seriously though, another brilliant story and you certainly have a knack for telling them! I'm wondering if this experience opened a door in your brain and left you with the ability to 'hear' what the tall man said to Mr Fireplug? I'm also wondering if there's any possibility you had any missing time with this encounter and maybe not realised! Some people think all Reptilians are bad, but I don't think that's a 'given'! There's more than one race and from what I've heard, if those you met had been two of the baddies, I seriously doubt you'd have lived to tell the tale! Glad you're enjoying the link I posted! I'd be interested to know what you think of 'Thrive' if you ever get around to watching it! PS... My mum saw a massive UFO in 1959 and that's what started my interest!

Jerry, What a fabulous account. I have read several of your posts and I must say, your writing style is a joy, most addictive! I would be sad to see any negative comments about this not being "ghostly". It shouts "non human entity" to me and whether spiritual or other-worldly, is down to personal interpretation. I believe in alien life. Why would there not be other intelligent beings in our vast universe? For us to be alone, makes no sense. With the number of plants out there, the law of averages would surely turn up more than one inhabited planet. It's a topic that fascinates!
Also, I read your Vietnam encounter yesterday. Awesome account and my respect to you for your years of service. Although we are from different continents, I have great respect and admiration for all who serve to bring peace to our world.
Kindest Regards
Earthangel

JerryB,
I think you were lucky to have encountered these two beings (whoever or whatever they were) . Clearly they were of a curious nature even if one was a little less friendly (I'm guessing someone had shot at him / her previously to make it this upset).
Where they came from or what they were doing in your local woodland is not so important compared with your great encounter.
I think it is awesome and you were very lucky.
Don't worry about the poo pooers on here clearly they haven't had the luck of meeting such a interesting extra species.
Reminds me... Maybe I should write mine.

Miracles51031 -- thanks for the chuckle. Actually, I have every intention of handling any otherwise negative comments with the knowledge that I saw what I saw and they (who ever?) that wish to disagree didn't. I would never allow myself to get involved in any bar fights over any such disagreements. Still it's good to know that the 'ghost police' are out there monitoring. Thanks again for publishing this account of mine. True story.

So very relieved to hear (read) you say this. My concerns in this regard, coming from me the person who submitted the story may sound odd, but I seriously didn't want to do anything wrong here. A couple of members have voiced their dissatisfaction in my direction with stories not strictly adhering to pure ghost type stories. Relieved that you have a wider tolerance of understanding in these matters. Thank you Miracles.

JerryB - over the years we have had many stories from people who have seen UFOs and/or aliens. Your story, in my opinion since I'm the one who edited it, fit the Non Human Entities category. Many of our members enjoy reading, and participating in discussions, about aliens. I don't expect there to be a war waged over the fact this one is not about a ghost.

Hello Potato -- appreciate your support. Whole heartedly you say, can't ask for better than that.
Over the years this happening was the farthest thing from my memory that should have been there but wasn't as I explained. But when it did start creeping back, I had the Internet available and started looking into this the best I could. I had heard of the little grey aliens, not sure how, but I had, of Roswell, and so on. Then one day I discovered a website that went into details about all kinds if alien beings, one of which was a reptilian. I about fell off my chair reading that. That was MY alien. The article went on to explain that not all alien races are hostile, some even look exactly like us it claimed, but the reptilian races (the article claimed there was more than one such) was allegedly known to be extremely hostile. Again my alien, or at least one certainly could be catorigized as such.
Thanks for reading and not getting hung up on the fact that this wasn't a ghost story. Unless my step father might be considered as such, considering, remote as I believe that is the case.

Hello kaykay3313 --
Yes I do believe they we're aliens. I personally never saw anything like it before or since, to include that object (their ship) ... The only thing that could come close to the object would be a miniature version of the car El Camino, with its truck bed. But there again, it wasn't a miniature car, never saw anything like it before or since.
As to organ harvesting... Damn sure glad that wasn't in my mind at the time. Just the idea of creatures such as this, angry, in uniform, was bad enough. Smile.

Hi spockie -- the only answer I have to your excellent question is to repeat what I said in my story, and that is that the friendlier of the two informed me that they were aware of me the day prior but decided not to confront me then, and I might add I was certainly glad they chose not to do so then, me being alone in the woods as I was, BUT when more of our kind (that's how we were referred to 'our kind' returned they simply became more interested. Beyond that? Hell if I know.

JerryB do you believe they were aliens? I'm not doubting you whatsoever I just find it remarkable that they actually spoke to you and didn't harvest your organs or something like that haha. All jokes aside I do believe in aliens and I've always wondered what their intentions are wheather they are good or bad, sounds like you got a bit of both.

One thing I do not understand about this story... The beings had projected the illusion that the object was cracked beyond compare, you were both ready to walk off and leave it, so why did the alien beings decide to confront you? Very strange.
