Nice description DARKNESS!
Catzilla's secret weapon? Hacking up hairballs that can melt steel. They will eat through your RV, find where you live, and it will attack your trailer too!
There's no escaping the Mighty Catzilla!

My my my, catzilla or the native American thunderbird that caused lightning to crash down on the mountain tops and stole away Indian kids (unstuffed with s'mores and wieners) and ate them as snacks! And all because of a bad parking spot!

Hahaha nice work Jav, "catzilla", a cat and godzilla hybrid that has a far superior intellect that even the smartest person in the world could even fathom! It has a dislike of RV's, it will hunt you down and try to kill you, but you can bet your a** it won't eat your cat! Lol

Indigo,

That is seriously so funny! I love how you pretended not to hear it! I never heard of a peafowl, being a city girl- but I totally want one now! Ain't no one going to mess with my peafowl-guarded apartment!

"HELLLLP!"

So how about this: The creature was a physical manifestation of the cat's distress. A Tulpa, or some entity delivering a message on poor Jimmy's behalf. Well?

Yep mountaineer they're hilarious but mean. That'd be why mine were housed. Pete the huge male attacked anything colored blue, including my Exhusband and his truck. (which would also make me laugh uncontrollably until I cried) I know. I'm terrible.

I also just finished reading taz's post- wouldn't there be an insurance report? Lol rvs are expensive, insured, I'm sure, as 11 years ago most states had mandatory auto insurance. I'd LOVE to see that claim! Better yet, see the insurance claims persons face while reading it...

Police dispatch: Uhhhh yeah... All units, we have a complaint of pterodactyl or T-Rex attacking RV in Colorado campground... Suspect is believed to be attacking a religious womans camping unit which is parked just above the old Indian burial ground. Suspect isn't armed but is clawing into their sunroof... Please be advised of a small female child and teen boy located inside the camper with both parents... (whispering into mic here: hey, you guys... Call me by phone 'cause I GOTTA hear this one)

[at] Indigo: The old plantation house on my farm used to have a flock of peafowl living there. There has only been two left during my whole life. My dad tells me that people would drive up, hear that HELLLLP call, and look at my grandad like they thought he was keeping people prisoner in the basement. They are perhaps the most hilarious birds ever. 😆

Indigo,

It's sad that Hollywood renditions of horror films have given so many people misconceptions about what causes a haunting. Seriously- the ground going "sour?" Indian burial ground? Pet Cemetary much? 😕

Ok delta, and every other person that thinks theyre haunting is because of native burial grounds: http://www.coloradoaim.org/media/bw-20040122.html
Maybe your haunt was NOT because of a burial ground. Maybe the ground was sacred. Doesn't mean it was a burial ground. Yours coulda been an escaped emu or ostrich from one of the ranches out there.

In closing: geez guys. We don't go around claiming we are haunted because we camped out over your old "burial grounds". You seem to think this sort of thing is cool or exciting. It's not. Its just sad that slave tunnels and 'Indian burial grounds' get y'all all goose bumpy and excited. Get a clue, get a life, get an education and please, get some sense, ok?

ok a few points and questions~
1> your parents decided to take you and pat~ would they normaly leave you behind?
2> stuff from the 70's is not "old"
3> your mum was religious but was ok to camp on a native indian burial site~ a sacred place where the dead were laid to rest!
4>you don't recall any of the trip there but know what you ate!
5>the rv was shaking, banging and pounding but dad and pat were passed out~ been drinking or smoking?
No wait pat woke up for a second, oops passed out again even with all that going on!
6> have you heard of a t~rex or a rapter? Walked on 2 legs you know
7>ahh now mum can wake dad when he seams to stop breathing, after a few minutes of course and for a second, I'm guessing the answer to 5 was smoking some strong weed
8>ok,quick round up psycic dino with posible mind control, brother wakes up and fetches trainers and the dino has now become a psycopath,
Camper torn, clawed but dad brushes it off as not there, police take no notice of said camper when you pass them too busy to notice obviously (must have had donuts), foot prints~3 toes~photos taken but could be now lost, strangely no mention of going to papers with story and pictures as proof "thing unknown attacks family" get home find the cat in trailor, in summer, with heater on too. And the cat needed a vet? Go figure! You wish you were nicer to jimmy but you figure he had bad luck, I figure he had bad owners! How about not leaving him locked up for days alone water evaperates in heat no wonder poor jimmy needed a vet! Then you sell the camper to uncle who also had bad luck.
You hope we believe you?
I wish you to accept the gift of this here blanky to keep you warm on your next "trip"

This sounds less like a ghost story than it does a Bigfoot story. The 'over an Indian's burial ground' is over the top. I don't suppose OTHER campers were unaffected? As one cannot just plop an RV down just anywhere.

So let me get this straight... You went camping with your family in Jurassic Park, survived a dinosaur attack, and because it failed to get you, the dinosaur broke into your home, which it mysteriously knew the location of, and turned up your heater so your cat would die. If I was a dinosaur capable of learning the location of someone's home by gnawing on their camper for a couple hours, then traveling all the distance and gaining entry to that home unnoticed, I would have eaten your cat, not turned up the heat. This story is utterly ridiculous.

Delta, I found your story easy to read but suspect it was an bear attack or possibly vandals, all viewed through the lens of many years and a child's perception. I remember an incident that happened on my 3rd birthday and have a number of memories from age 4, so I can believe you were recounting a memory. Your mom's response was believable although I don't understand why your brother and dad were so hard to wake.

The cat incident I don't chalk up to anything paranormal - just lack of care unfortunately.

However, thanks for sharing the incident.

http://www.iment.com/maida/family/father/jackbell/grizzly.htm

The site above is about a bear in Colorado that is missing toes called the king of the grizzlies back in 1904. Obviously I don't think it was that bear that attacked your trailer but I'm thinking you may have encountered a hungry bear or mountain lion.

I don't feel anything paranormal about both your stories but I'm no expert on the subject.

Thanks for the read.
😁

Pebbles - of all the stories on here to give you chills, this one? And this is the only comment you've made on any story so far? And curiously you subscribed just after Delta did? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Nysa: I wrote up a comment that was almost in verbatim to yours and my browser ate it, so kudos because you said everything I was trying to. 😉

And yet again with photographic evidence of a supposed paranormal experience being destroyed... How coincidental.

So due to an "unfortunate gift" you are able to clearly remember a dinosaurish creature that you are sure nobody else has ever seen, which was trying to posses your brother & father while trying to tear apart your "old" 1970s RV with no success when you were four? The police asked a few questions but did not want to measure the scratches on thr RV or bring in wildlife experts to determine which clearly dangerous animal was attacking a vehicle in the campground? And the demon/dinosaur creature was the cause of a vet euthanizing a cat due to heat exhaustion? Forgive my skepticism. This does not add up in my opinion.

Whoa, I see you're a teenager, and the world is still pretty new to you. However, "very old" is not what I would describe something from the 70's. Careful on your wording!

I found this story hard to read. Sorry! But if I heard banging and someone trying to break in, I wouldn't assume "demon possession" and grab a prayer book. I'd wake my man's butt up! I'd assume it were someone trying to break in and rob unsuspecting campers.

And you're blaming a "creature" for what? Turning the heater on for your cat to bake? It sounds like your "mom" is really stretching for any reason yell "demon!".
