Thanks, red. I like the word 😊. Can't remember if you used it before in your earlier stories. I'll have to go back and reread them. It's been awhile.

it was a word me and my friend made up when we were little. She lived out in the middle of the desert and we would see black and white entities outside looking in her house. We decided the black were bad and the white were good. Looking back now, I am sure they were both bad. But we were just kids

They were kind of see through. So we called them translutionaries.

Alright, red, I'll bite. What are translutionaries? 😕 New one on me and I admit it.

Alright first off, because I am a good writer and my experience was well written, does not mean its not true. I will try to explain to everyone what they did not understand.
1. [at] Sailors_Sweetheart0413 (I don't know if the ' [at] ' does anything to the post. A lot of people are commenting on Bryanna's moms reaction; She was trying to calm us down, soothe us, trying to look for things to say like "it's all in your head." She gave a whole speech on her beliefs on negative energy and whatnot. Just because she is a parent does not mean she is going to freak out about it. She just wanted us to calm down. All parents respond different to certain situations I guess? My mom acted the same way when I told her about it bawling my eyes out. She said when I recently asked her about it, "I was only acting like that because I didn't want you to be even more scared," and "I think Bryanna was kidding because she is like that. I don't believe in that stuff." Our parents reactions may seem hard to believe but THAT IS HOW IT HAPPENED.
2. [at] redphx Dreams/nightmares have happened to me like that before but are hard to remember. I've done some things to try to help this, I didn't write them in my post because I wasn't really thinking of it. I have tried saying that one psalm in every room I forget which one. My theology teacher told me to and I read it online as well. I also tried channeling the spirit by talking to it and praying and by the power of god it will leave me alone yadda yadda... Not necessarily exactly how I said it. Another reason I don't get help is because I don't know where to go for it, I don't want to get laughed at or told I have psychological problems or something. I'm also afraid of it not working, and things getting worse.
I'm going to post another comment to separate them better.

I know for a fact that if I ran to my friends mom and said we were messing around with the board and my friend was acting weird her mom would think I was lying. I know because we used to mess around with things all the time. Never got this bad but we saw "translutionaries" outside. Her mom thought we were just being kids and over reacting

While this sounds a little dramatized I know that the ouija board definately has the power to do this. I am a litle skeptical of the mom though. My only explination to her reaction is maybe she thought you were kidding around? Or maybe she doesn't believe in the paranormal and was reluctant to accept the fact that her daughter was being affected by a demon/negative entity? I don't know, but some clarification would be much appreciated:)

Well. Some spirits will prey on weaker individuals. I have only ever had one experience where a spirit was trying to influence my behavior. It came at me while I was sleeping and had to get to me in the astral. It showed me a vision I guess what would be a nightmare to harm my mother. (I know the reason) but I overcame it and I felt it jolt out of my body and I woke up. I t was an awful feeling. If someone isn't strong enough it could very easily overpower them. Luckily for me I'm able to hold my own.

But... That was an isolated incidence and it never came back and I was targeted because I knew who this spirit was connected to.

One thing that I do agree with and say that you are more than likely telling the truth is because you described a typical possession type instance. This wouldn't be considered a true possession just an influence. Most of the time the eyes change and that is really the only thing you can notice different, besides the mannerisms and the things they say. But they don't climb on walls or do arobics like most people say. SO you do lend yourself some credibility in that department.

Now.

If you feel that you are being followed around why haven't you done something about it? You need to cleanse your life if you feel there is an energy around you. I don't think that you have a portal of any sort. Just bad energy.

You say bought this board from a "school garage sale kind of thing". This next part is what I am wondering about. You stated
"I bought it for I think a dollar or so... Someone really didn't want this thing."
If it was the price that brought you to that conclusion, I am not sure what you expected to pay for an old board game at a garage sale, because those type of items would seem to be expectedly low in price. If someone "really" didn't want the thing, wouldn't they have tossed it out themselves?
You say you got rid of the board. Did you toss it in the garbage? Or did you perform some sort of new age ceremony involving chants and dancing?

First: You stated this...

40 years is a pretty big 'gap'...was this a 'mass produced style board or a homemade one and can you narrow the time period down?

Second: You have asked this...

It is more likely you were 'opening' yourself more, rather than the board or 'spirits' gaining energy.

Third: I have some experience with these type of boards and I do not understand this comment...

"So, I thought nothing of it. While playing in my attic with a friend, we got it to move a pencil, and even touch my friend. It wouldn't touch me for some reason..."

Can you explain that better?

Forth: This is where you begin to loose me...I'm fine fine with the part where the boys were 'treating it as a joke'...Things like that happen all the time. That or the fact individuals are 'playing' with the board...I've noticed that the majority of the 'bad' experiences seem to be told by 'teenagers' that say 'We were Playing' with the board. Spirit communication is not a game and should not be treated as such.

ANYWAY...This is where I 'get lost'...You state...

"I tried to shake her off and as soon as I got to the end of the door way to the hallway, she let go and kneeled at the end of the doorway as I ran down the hallway screaming like a maniac. I stood at the top of the stairs not knowing what to do and her mom eventually came upstairs while in the meantime Bryanna let out this, weird devilish scream and ran down the hallway. I knew she was kind of normal again because her eyes were different and her mom was there asking us what happened. We told her and then she told us to put everything away and try to calm down. We went in her room again and cleaned up while her mom got ready for bed."

While I can understand her mom not wanting to use the board with you and your friend I DO NOT understand her reaction to your friends actions after you guys begin 'playing' with the board again...

If I or my wife had heard all that 'screaming' and then you told me my daughters eyes had rolled back into her head followed by her collapsing I'd be making my way to the hospital to have her checked in case it was a seizure... I do not believe her Mother was that calm about what happened, unless she thought you two were 'joking'.

I'll just stop here and say I am very much 'On The Fence' with this account. It is well written... I will say that.

Wow, I really don't know where to start. I'll just begin with some questions.

1) You didn't speak with your best friend for 2 years, who lives down the street? What made you two start talking again?

2) What was her mom thinking? If I had a kid, and saw her with a best friend, trying to use an ouija board. I would say more than "i'm not touching that thing". I would tell them how dangerous it is to use it, stop them from using it, and then contact her parents about it, to see if they know. (Yeah, I would snitch about something so dangerous) I'm glad you don't use it anymore though.

The whole ouija, demonic oppress/posses thing has become quite popular with young folks these days... Not sure if it has taken off with the internet (mid/late 90's)
And...why we do have some very nasty cases of demonic oppression- even some traced back to the use of spirit boards...I'd still like to think it a rare occurance. Consider, if you find yourself in the grip of such oppression, it takes a looong time, and a lot of help to break free.

I think it's more psychological than paranormal. I suggest you see a counsellor.:)

My aunt got possesed by some evil spirit too. People had to bring her to the church and pray like there's no tomorrow. Her eyes would like roll and this scary man voice comes out of her mouth. It would stop then come back after a while, they had to bring her to different churches. It finally stopped after that. Maybe you should pray every day or something idk.
