I don't exactly have the best relationship with my parents so if possible I'd like to avoid concerning them with my problems. The dream doesn't occur every night usually on every second or third. The direction in which I get taken away never changes but the place in which I lie before always does. The man who takes me away always says the same thing; at least he did until last night when he also said 'its time'. Time for what? Take me away where? I can never stop thinking about these things when I'm awake.
Also about a week ago I had my piano moved into my room. Occasionally when I play it I feel the same touch that was on my head on my hands. It's cold but warm and then it's gone. Whenever that happens I have "he's here' cross my mind.

I guess my next issue is that touch, it doesn't scare me but I don't exactly want to invite any more of it... If you know of something please tell me.

I'll definitely try the jug thing and I do have a rosary that I always wear. I have no access o holly water and the floor in my room is carpet, so mopping it is not going to work. The church is about 2 hours drive from where I live and I have always found it quiet unpleasant.

dear rose
I meant psychic attacks not astral. Miss typd. I didn't say there was a satan in this story. Just said satan was an alien concept in indian thinking.

Try to focas on what the man looks like.
Do the dreams change in anyway? Like have you ever gone in a different direction or has your "brother" said anything else? Or your dream could mean something else, like a new arrival, departure, or even a lie?
I would suggest to write stuff down in a book, and when you think it's the best time, ask your mum about it and show her the book.
I know this because, this has happened to me before, but it's always and end if the world scene or a marriage scene.

Anyway, good luck and take me advice:) xx

Rev: What does the astral have to do with satan. And, no. There is no satan in this white chick's spiritual path;)

dear rosemary,
The jug of water represents the indian god of water. Water is considered holy in nearly every culture and religion.
It has the capacity to repel bad dreams etc. No life is possible without it. We originated from water so it signifies our roots.
As for the church part, the subject has stated in the story that things improved somewhat after her parents and she started going to their church.
Belief is very important and one has to believe in something or the other. Even you do have faith in your friends. In any relationship, faith is the prime factor.
You don't have to go the church specifically. If you can see god in your parents, relations, friends or pets its much better. Every living creature has a soul. And this soul is god. There is divinity in every animal, human.we are attracted to each other because of a karmic link. The modern church has twisted the teachings of jesus to suit there own ends. If you study the very old churches like the coptic church, you will notice the differences.
Somethings I have noticed in the majority of the white race. Astral attacks are quite common. I hardly find such incidents in india. I think its because the whites have more faith in such phenomenon. In indian religion we don't have a satan. Its totally a western churches concept.
One is what one believes.
I can be very wrong in my observations though. But there is a whale of a difference between our cultures and thinking. The west has more faith in evil and the destructible and short living body and is more egocentric, individualistic.again no offence meant.
Peace

Hey, Rev. Maybe an explanation off your suggestions would help us understand what your ideas are and how they can help. Stated as is, without explanation (for example, the jug of water), it doesn't make a lot of sense. I have also noticed in nearly everything you post, you suggest going to church. Church may help you, but it doesn't do squat for nonbelievers or even believers with certain issues of church.

I forgot to mention that you should sprinkle holy water on your rooms walls and mop the floor with salt water. Hope you don't eat sweets before sleeping and do brush your teeth before going to bed. Keep a jug of water under your bed at night. Don't cover it and keep it near your head. In the morning pour the jug in a trees root nearest to your home.

your story has moved me deeply.
I am asian and not a christian. As my name may suggest. So excuse my bad english.
I think you already have an answer to your problem as you write early in your experience that going to the church helped you somewhat.
I can be wrong but why don't you try praying with more fervor?
Often when I open the bible it opens at a page where a solution to my problems is written.
If you don't like christianity you can try wiccan, pagan, hindu, buddhist or moslem prayers.
I recall that the buddha too, like you, was bothered by a similar person when he was meditating under the bodhi tree. So don't worry maybe you too like the buddha will get a positive outcome lol.
Btw,have you ever discussed your problem with your family doctor?
Some cases respond very well to anti anxiety medications. Some anti depressants like mirtazapine can even cure symptoms of demonic hauntings, which are like some entity sitting on the suffers chest and making breathing difficult. This makes me think twice whether such entities exist.
I seriously think that hauntings may just be your sub consciousness kicking out some garbage. But it can be very traumatic for the subject.
Now coming back to home remedies-
You should play your favourite music loud. Try singing your favourite songs.
This works for me.
Before you go to bed have a bath with sea salt dissolved in the water and put on sandalwood or rose perfume. Also try burning sandalwood rose or patchouli incense sticks twice a day TWO at a time.
Oregano and frankincese can be used to smoke your room. Effective in dealing with astral phenomenon.
You can also buy a talisman like a cross or an ankh or a key, a lion etc. Hold it in your hand when you pray. It will act like a charm. You can also buy a rosary. Also you can fill a small canister with yellow mustard seeds and ties it to your arm. Or just tie them up in a piece of black cloth and tie the seeds to your arm.
Hope it helps and please forgive me if you find something not nice in what I have written.
Another thing. The hood one visiting you in your dreams bears a strong resemblance to the arch angel Israel. But not as portrayed in christian scenario but as in muslim
Mythology. Now I cannot really understand how the muslims come in.
Peace

Maybe you should tell this to your mother and ask if she knows anything about the 'man' who haunts your nightmares...
Good Luck
