Nice story I have read thousand of stories but never read like this, first you are a good writer second the story looks like alien story movie like men in black series:) I cannot believe this are you testing you writing skills. If there are any entity like this I hope this type of story also available on net.

I took the time to read some of your previous stories and found a certain resemblance between "Revenge Attempt" and a book from Stephen King called "The Tommynockers" - did you ever read it?

I do not know how your 'experiences' have evolved from seeing an old ghost bathing by a well to the encounter with an evil cyberntity such as 'Shynil', but I would rather do something else better than reading one more of your long and confussing stories...

If Vinod went to his office to collect his stuff after deciding to close the institute, -how could he forget to take home his laptop?

Aaaahhh! This,too, was part of Shynil's evil plan to hide his tracks, wasn't it?

I do not want to be rude, but this story is very confussing and hard to believe.

Thanks for sharing.

You have mentioned 'Shynil' but never once explained what is it that you think it is or how is it you come about the name... Any story to explain your familiarity with whatever it is. To me its a bit annoying when people do not explain things that are unique to their story/them and not know to all.

Interesting...first you 'describe' what you mean... Or what you call a Shynil (your word for it). You went to a large retailer to by a book... Saw someone working on the lift (elevator)...well your words are better...

"There is a large book store in city connected with an equally big music/video chain. When I went there for purchasing some books, elevator had a board "work in progress". I started to climb the stairs and near the 3rd floor I spotted a person meddling with the open lift. The aura of evil was so faint that had I not gone near him out of sheer curiosity, I would not even had spotted it. When I asked him who he was, he drew out the company card and stamped visit card for maintenance window. But by then I had realized the danger. I kept my hand on it's shoulder. Instead of shoulder bone I could feel a soft jelly like vibrating material underneath. Before I could move, he had almost galloped through the stairs in a quite different way than the humans do. I called the maintenance. They said they had received a complaint but had not sent anyone to fix it yet. So what this creature was up to is anybody's guess..."

So, as a customer you took it upon yourself to question someone, a possible maintenance worker, about what they were doing? You did so to the point you were 'touching' him... Holding his shoulder just before he ran away... You then called maintenance?

Or is this statement 'more correct'?

Which is it... Did you avoid him because of the 'evil aura' or did you question him like you were an employee of the store?

Or have I misunderstood your statement?

Lets move on to your Friend and his fever...

You say this 'entity'...a Shynil you called it (your name for it) made your friend sick because it was 'covering its 'tracks' because it did not want it to be 'detected'. My question concerns this statement then... Made by this 'supposed' entity...

"The software still cannot cater to a certain condition. I have written an open source plug in. Can I distribute to all if you give me the email ids"

From what you have related there is the potential for 45-47 other victims... Anyone who accepted the 'plug in' information from this 'individual'.

This is an interesting write up... For me however I find the 'overtones' of Ringu (The Ring in the US) a bit much... In the movie it was a video tape... If you watched you died in 7 days... In your 'account' its a dvd that contained evidence that this 'entity' existed... It made your friend sick, it made you sick.

I am going to find a comfortable spot out here on the fence... I hope you understand my reservations.

I agree with Geetha. I understood your experience but you are famous for getting rid of evil from houses and bodies. Safeguarding babies. Why did yoo go all the way to confront such character. This additional curiosity may cost you life you know.

How is your friend, Vinod doing? I hope he is healthy and back to managing his company. Did you ever tell Vinod or his mother what happened?

What you described sounds like a demon or evil spirit of some kind. I have heard it being mentioned here on this site and by some Muslims friends about a Jinn. Mentioned in the Islamic mythology and Quran (hope that is the right spelling), a jinn is described as made of a smokeless and "scorching fire". That is closest that I could think of. As a Hindu, I'm not sure what it is called. I hope someone else could figure out what that thing was.

I would like to make a suggest, I hope you don't mind. I don't know if you or Vinod's mother did it already but if not I suggest you do it. Was a pooja for Vinod's protection and the protection of his employees and the actually workplace itself ever done? I'm asking this because like you said, this thing that hurt your friend could have been some lower demon / evil spirit or something that was conjured by a bigger force or someone who was jealous of your friend's success. What is not to say that this thing or something else could come along to hurt your friend or his family. You never know because as humans we let our guards down after a little while thinking that they won't attack again. It would be good to a pooja on ourselves and places of work and residence.

And if haven't done so yourself do the pooja on yourself and place of residence to because although it was admirable thing to by putting yourself in harms way to help your friend, that's what you did and you should (1) cleanse yourself from the residue of that evil and (2) protect yourself from any future attacks.

My god. One of the best ones ever. I will find out the character name and tell you. Yet another stunner. You are really the best. Had to read it twice to understand. But then sort of shivered.

I loved it and think it is the best one by you so far. It's terribly complex but at the same time as we move into the modern world the touch of spirits will also be complicated. I have read about a similar character, not in any experience but some manuscript translations. Suggest you now connect with other ghost experts in the world.

I have gone through the Story, but still I have my doubts & still unclear about the entity, you mentioned that the entity was sent by its Master, Who could be its master, or is it that Black Magic was crafted on your friend? If yes, I know the victim will become as you mentioned about our friend, But not sure about the Entity "SHYNIL" coming in person & attacking the victim.
